I have a king size bed that stands 33 inches tall, from the floor to the top of the mattress. This is one tall bed. Finding a lovely bedspread has been a challenge. This beautiful Chenille bedspread is perfect. The trim design around the edges of the pattern matches up perfectly along the top edge of my mattress. You will notice the bedspread doesn't touch the ground. I didn't think it would, considering how tall my mattress and adjustable base. I took an overhead photo so you can see how the pattern is centered on the bed. The cotton material is nice and light. The pattern areas are soft and Fluffy. When I removed it from the package, I placed it in my dryer with a wet towel. I ran it for 60 minutes on an ultra low setting, being sure to check the lint filter every 15 minutes. This bedspread creates a lot of lint, so it is best to remove that lint in your dryer NOT your washer. Since the bedspread didn't touch the floor, I found a simple dark green wrap around bedskirt. Amazon has some really nice ones that are elastic and strap around the bottom of the bed. Best of all it was less than 10 bucks. Overall, this is a very nicely crafted and simply beautiful chenille bedspread. I am so happy I chose it in white. It reminded me of my grandma, and it looks amazing! I absolutely recommend it 👌.

Beautiful, but hast to be watched two or three times to keep from shedding

We washedit and dried it according to the enclosed instructions before using it.When we put it on the bed, we discovered it had a small hole (1/8") in it! It is small and can hardly be seen, but are concerned it will get worse as we use it and need to wash it again.What to do? Should it be returned, or is this normal?

I was worried because of the negative reviews but I’m glad I ordered it. It’s beautiful and easy to wash and fits the bed perfectly. I did order a queen for a full size bed.

Awesome and so totally beautiful! We love the vintage chenille look and my husband, who never voices his like or dislike, has commented several times how he loves it on our king bed. Hangs to floor which was exactly what we needed! Love it!!!!! ❤

Beautiful and very soft

I had to write this review because I rely heavily on other people's reviews. That said, I'll begin by saying that I just received my chenille bedspread and I'm 100% happy with my purchase. I smiled hugely when I opened the box because, although I was slightly anxious when I ordered it because of the reviews that dealt with size and thickness (or thinness), I knew immediately that I had made the right decision.(1) This is truly a vintage-inspired bedspread -- just like Grammy used to have. I was slightly concerned because the picture makes it look puffy. It's not.(2) It's thin but not in a cheap way. You can see through the non-embellished parts to the same degree you can see through quality, unlined, white linen pants. If you're not wearing a leopard print thong underneath, you're fine. (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.) One of the pictures shows my hand under the bedspread, so you can see for yourself.(3) I love the fringe! The picture makes it look as though a separate piece was sewn on. This is not the case. The fringe is an extension of the bedspread, as it should be.(4) Here, I will explain the size in detail. The king spread claims it's 118x120. I didn't measure it; however, if you look at my pictures, you can determine whether or not it will work for you. I have a king (76"x80") Saatva bed with a 14.5" mattress and an 8.75" foundation. Combined with the frame, which is 8" from the floor, my bed sits about 33+" high. (I know that's higher than the math would tell you, but it is what it is.) You can see in my pics that the king spread hits the bed frame. Since I haven't found a bigger spread, this is fine with me. I will be ordering a bedskirt. No big deal.(5) Shams. Again, as you can see in my pictures, you do not need shams. If you place the spread evenly on the bed so that it hits the frame in the same place all the way around, you have more than enough to cover your pillows. Of course, if you want them as decorative accents, go for it.(6) Lint. I don't know what some others are referring to, but it doesn't appear to be extraordinarily linty. I shook it out, put it on, no issues. Maybe after washing, there'll be lots of lint in the dryer. We'll see. I wanted to put it on first so that I could take pictures and help others make their decision, since my search for a quality, inexpensive bedspread took more than 3 weeks.I hope this was helpful. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this beautiful bedspread.

I got the white King bed coverlet and I absolutely love it. It fits my king bed perfectly with lots of overhang on the sides as well as the end. I can even put it over my pillows and tuck it under!As far as quality goes, it is very good. I am very picky about what I put on my bed. I don't like a heavy comforter. I prefer to use a blanket to make it warmer, so this coverlet is perfect for me. The pattern of the chenille is lovely. I have now ordered the matching shams.I read several reviews before I ordered this and when it arrived, I put it in my drier with a wet towel for about 30 min. The chenille fluffed right up and most of that chemical smell disappeared. I went away completely by the next day after airing it out.It is so elegant in my bedroom, it makes me very happy!

Loved the chenille bedstead in ivory. Ordered two shams but only received one. Hoping I will be able to get second sham to complete the look. I like be it.

This throw is very pretty and in my view more for decoration than for comfort or warmth. I did keep it because it looks lovely at the bottom of my bed.

As you can tell my the photo, there is MUCH less pattern and MUCH larger areas of plain cotton. The quality is so-so but I guess you get what you pay for. Going to keep it but not completely satisfied. I have another chenille bedspread that's lovely and this one does not compare. Would not recomment for purchase
