Work perfectly
I smashed some clear tekta and sifted through each of these and they work perfectly. I got powder, fine, medium and corse frit that are very close in size to bullseye frit.

durable screens
There is not a lot to be said about this sifter set. It just does what it says and is well-built so I expect to get long service form it.

Frit slips through side of sifter
These generally work as described, however frit pieces can get between the side of the sifter and the screen. If not carefully cleaned the next color can be contaminated with previous colors that were stuck between the wall of the sifter and the screen. Otherwise these are working as intended. Would purchase again if needed.

Small Scale Mealworm Farm sorter
Sturdy construction, easy to clean with a hose rinse, four mesh sizes to help sift out frass. I keep beetles in a separate container over bedding and mesh screen for easy sorting of eggs (as they hatch, baby worms fall through screen)Screen #1 (coarse) will sift all beetles, pupae, a few larger feeder worms and large debrisScreen #2 sorts medium worms, occasionally a larger worm slips throughScreen #3 sorts medium to small worms, not ready to feedScreen #4 (finest) sorts smallest worms and bedding from the fine frass (ie worm poop)I usually keep all four screens together, working with small amount clearing each screen before shaking the finest screen into a large foldger’s coffee container to minimize dust in the air and to save the frass for later use. Frass doesn’t really have a smell and can be a great fertilizer for potted plants or gardens.I *highly* recommend wearing a mask when working with the frass because it is certainly a respiratory irritant and can cause a bad cough, congestion and sneezing for a few days if you breath any in.

Excellent for sorting glas frit by size
Much larger than expected, nice surprrise! I make my own frit for craft projects and needed sifters to sort glass by size. Saw these and had heard of them before, were on sale so ordered them. They make the work so easy- screens snap in and out for cleaning and these are well made and very sturdy. Sorted 2 folgers canisters of glass in less than an hour. So pleased with these, exactly what I needed and they work perfectly. To keep them from getting stuck together when storing I wrapped each one in cheese cloth and it keeps them clean and dust free as well/ Excellent products, highly recommend these!

Just like what we have in glass class
I knew what I was getting, so no surprises.I would caution against using silicone to seal around the screen/metal connection as some reviewers have recommended, as now I have glass particles sticking to the silicone and contaminating subsequent batches. Better to just tap it a lot to clear out stuck pieces in the joint areas than have to manually chip it out of the silicone.

Best tool ever
We crush crystals to put into inlay rings. It was such a pain having to dig through all of the different sized pieces. I bought this in hopes of being able to separate the sizes quickly and it does just that.

Sifters
Love these so much for crushing and sifting glass into difference sizes. I can make my own fruit from scrap glass.
