Excellent, perfect for mum

I have another of these by a different supplier, both equally efficient. This however has the edge as the descriptors to make night and day obvious is much clearer. You can change the colours and set alarms, but also symbols depicting night and day really help. Simple to set up easy to read.You can also adapt the brightness. My photo was in a room with blackout curtains so very dark.Highly recommend.

I found this clock very easy to set up. I'm 75 and had no problem. But it is easier to actually go through the menu scrolling process than to read what to do. And it worked as soon as I plugged it in. ie, right time, date etc.I only have one drawback with this item. And this is the numbered day of the month. I feel that it should be closer to the name of the month, and a little larger. From across the room, this is about the only detail that I had a problem reading. And for some strange reason, it has a comma next to it. I haven't been through all of the menu. Right now, I don't feel the need.
