A Scotch dispenser at such a price was unbelievable. Yes, it was a genuine 3M Canadian product and lives up to the company's reputation in terms of quality and versatility. I bought this to help me with gift-wrapping, where the tape can be dispensed with one hand.The heavy base with a rubber foot would ensure it stays stable while in use. You'll be able to work efficiently in the fastest way possible.I bought this for use with the eco-friendly Greener Tape Scotch Transparent Greener Tape, 3/4 x 900 Inches, Boxed, 6 Rolls (612-6P) and not the regular Magic Tape.If a package uses bio-degradeable bubble wraps, recyclable air bags and recycled-paper gift wrap, why should the packaging tape be any less eco-friendly? I'm grateful to Scotch for manufacturing such products, and to Amazon for making it available in India.Coming back to the dispenser, the silver area's paint had worn off in some of the edges. But then this was not meant for ornamental purposes and there's no match for it's functionality. I just love this!I would recommend keeping the entire system covered so that the tape doesn't catch dust, thereby making the sides visible in a white background. If you're not going to use it for a while, place the end of the tape rolled back instead of resting on the cutter blade.

This product is useless as the size of the dispenser is v small. It’s only usable for medical tape small size. I had requested for a return but the product was never picked up.
