Very Bad Accuracy
I am an industrial customer having several of the LCR meters. I ordered this product and one other from Amazon to understand their quality and accuracy so that we can order more for other team members. When I received this we tested the meter, following are the test results: You can make judgement on your own:1) Electrolytic capacitor rated at 1000uF at 63V: We tested the capacitor with this meter and it says 668uF. Then we tested the same capacitor with our 1% accuracy lab certified meter and it gave us the reading of 910uF which is well within the capacitor rating and variation of 10%. However this meter gave the error of more than 30% against claimed accuracy of 2.5%.2) 100uF MLCC : it read 47uF against actual value of 92uF3) 220uH valued Inductor: This meter gave value of 240uF whereas the actual value is 215uF.Apart from that the adjustment knob on the meter is just for show. Nothing gets adjusted. For instance we joined the two probes together and it gave a reading of 8uH and we tried to adjust that value to zero but nothing at all happened despite us turning the knob from one end to another. Same goes with capacitance.Also the brand new 9V battery supplied by the seller in the box itself started showing low battery indication just after 10mins of it working. It may be just because of the low quality battery but in any case I am stating what actually happened.I would not recommend this product. The second meter I ordered of different company using Amazon is giving very very good results. (I am not stating the brand or model of the other product here as it will not be fair to do so)
