The Gutter Guard - Wedge Eliminates Downspout Pipe Clogs From Leaves and Debris - 2-Pack

I did not have the funds to put on an entire length of gutter guard so I opted to try these products. When they arrived, they were flat in the package and needed to be snap together so I was concerned they were going to be a poorly manufactured and something with break. Turns out they snap together easily and my husband and I quickly place them on the top of our downspouts on our roof. We didn't even need to get on the roof, we just got a ladder and cleaned up and block them in. We've checked them to her three times and there is a substantial amount of debris prior to the unit so it is working properly and now it's nothing goes down the downspout and clocks back.

These worked really well to prevent leaf clogs.

These puppies were certainly assembled both quickly and easily. That being said, if you are a single female new homeowner like myself that recognizes that your gutters need to be cleaned out and for some ridiculous reason you think you can do this job yourself, these will certainly help you keep your downspouts open.If you have been like me and looked at your gutters and said "that's not that high, I don't need to call in professionals, I can handle this job myself!!" then you need these!! On my first ascension to the top of my new Telescoping Ladder (also bought on Amazon) I realized quickly, that the view from the top is much different than the view from the ground looking up.Since I spent the majority of my time white knuckling the ladder clinging to it to keep from plummeting to my death it made it rather difficult to carry what I needed up to the gutters. This gutter guard however, thanks to its streamlined designed sits nicely in the betwixt my "ladies" as I ascended the ladder for the install. Very easy to drop in the edges of the gutter to provide coverage. Would highly recommend!!

So we have a maple tree that is about 300ft tall next to our house. These things prevent the gutter pipes from getting clogged, however since the maple leaves are so thin and wide, it just prevents the water from getting to the drain. This has caused our gutters to just overflow. I guess it's better than having to clean our downspouts, but it would have been great to not have our gutters overflow either.

It arrived quick and was easy to assemble and install in the gutter. It doesn’t stop leaf build up or slowing of the drain completely. It just creates more surface area allowing for more build up before stopping up. My only concern is it’s made of plastic and not sure how long it will hold up in the 100 plus temps we receive during the summer.

These work, for about 5 minutes. The only difference is the leaves and debris don't go into the downspout and instead, everything gathers at the Gutter Guard. Leaves and other small debris clog it up and stops water from flowing.
