easy solution for the 40 seconds to light issue...
This is great and it helps a lot and I can also burn it inside just inside open doors and feel like it is a completely safe product because of the natural ingredients. The one drawback is that it takes about 40 seconds to light it so you need to use a bic flame or lighter but not a match. I found a solution though and it is to wind some masking tape on the top of the stick to keep the flame going so that you don't have to stand there for the full 40 seconds. Note that the tape has several rotations of tape for a half inch above the stick.

Works great for mosquito hell
I spend a lot of time in my backyard gardening. This last month has been the worst in memory for mosquitos. I normally use a Yard Guard fogger in conjunction with topical deep woods mosquito repellent, and multiple citronella candles. Normally that combination works very well, but with this recent bloom of mosquitos, that wasn't cutting it.Decided to try these and they are fantastic. I use 3-4 of them at a time, and place them in different spots in the garden. I was skeptical but ultimately super impressed at how well they repelled mosquitos. It is a dramatic difference when using them. They burn for a few hours and aren't overwhelmingly scented. To be clear, I still use topical mosquito spray citronella candles, and an occasional fog of Yard Guard in the mornings when needed.Highly recommend if you are in mosquito hell.

Hard to light and work okay
I purchased these for our deck and front porch, but I found them difficult to light. I have to hold the lighter for a long time before they finally catch. They seem to work okay, though I still get mosquito bites, which could be from other times outdoors. I discovered that it’s easier to light the incense stick if I hold it horizontally and place the flame underneath about 1/2 inch from the tip. Initially, I was trying to light the very tip, but this new method, while better, still requires several attempts with the lighter.

Love these!
I used these a lot last season for camping and patio sitting and plan to use them this year too. I think they really do work and they smell so nice. Sometimes I light one just because I wanna smell it and not because I have mosquitoes around.
