It totally works with no side effects. However do remember it is not totally herbal. It has chemicals used for dye. Follow instructions for proper results. Good thing is that it works instantaneously due to few chemicals present. No need to soak it for hours.

It's not herbal
It contains black colour , your fingers , nails , clothes will turn black. Use gloves before applying. I don't think it's natural mehendi. I will not buy it again and I don't recommend it to others.
