Super Cheap feeling/light weight, but perfect for the price and simple DIY home projects
So this is 100% a case of "you get what you pay for". this 4 piece set is over 1/2 as cheap as many other brands selling 4 tool sets, and if you compare this set to them, you can easily see where all the cost were cut. The drill feels like its completely hollow and made of the cheapest plastic possible. The flashlight feels like it could blow over in the wind. The saw is the tiniest, lightest saw I've ever seen in my life. Surprisingly the jigsaw actually feels pretty solid. So I've establish this set feels cheap, and thats because it is! However, every tool opperates as its suppose to. The drill is more than enough for simple home projects like hanging pictures or building a simple shelf. It does not have a ton of power to it. Other screwdrivers from other higher end kits feel like they could break my wrist if used wrong. The one in this set would struggle with anything requiring much torque. But all of that is ok, because for the price, the set works, the batteries hold out well on charge, are easy to swap in and out, and the charger is super easy to put on and off. If you need a cheap, 4 piece home closet tool kit, this works well. If you are building out a garage work station that will see tons of use, you HAVE to put more budget than this into your tools.

Great value for the money!
Love my Black & Decker cordless power tools. I have other B&D tools that I use around the house on projects. For my needs (light to moderate use) they suffice and are usually reasonably priced, easy to use and last when the tools are properly cared for.I had been wanting a reciprocating saw for a while, so when I saw this set of 4 tools was only $99 at Xmas time and included a reciprocating saw. I decided to get this set as my Xmas present to myself. Loved that for the price it included 2 - 20v max lithium batteries with charger, a circular saw, drill, lamp light, and reciprocating saw, plus a circular blade and a reciprocating blade.Certainly value for the money.I have had the set for about 5 months. So far, I have only used the reciprocating saw and I've used the light more than I thought I would, so the light is pretty handy.I have used the reciprocating saw multiple times mainly to saw off tree and shrub limbs, plus cut down to size logs for the fireplace. I'm usually using the saw for 1-2 hours at a time, especially now that its spring, and so far have only required the use of 1 battery each time i take the saw out on project, so the charge last a good long time.I'm very happy with how the reciprocating saw has performed. And if the circular saw and drill perform like the other B&D power tools I have, I'm sure I'll be happy with them as well.

Know Your Application.
This was my first set of tools. I now own (and have owned for some time) a Makita 7 tool set as well, which would make this set my back up set now, or so you would think.First off, you need to accept these tools for what they are, you arent going to be building houses and starting a construction business. But they will do a lot more than you think.Drill: probably the weakest point of the set at only around 600 rpm. But it will work just fine for most homeowner applications. Soft wood or even thin metal should be fine as long as you take your time and use stepping sizes on bits. Its very light and compact, and anytime its practical to do so, i will use this over my 3x heavier makita. Also, it does come with a handy light.Circular Saw: so the first thing you need to do when you open the package is take out the stock blade it comes with, calmly inspect it, then throw it in the trash. Pick yourself up a diablo blade and this saw will do anything you need it to do.Reciprocating Saw: you wont be cutting down 10" trees or 6" posts, but for any reasonable metal or wood you would need to cut, this saw will do just fine. Again, i recommend upgrading the blade.Light: most of the time, i would scoff at included worklights, but this thing is actually really nice and high quality. Extremely compact and has a mainstay in my tool bag. As i can use my makitas on a bigger job without taking up a battery. The makita light is junk anyway, i would use this one anyway.Batteries: the set comes with 2) 1.5 Ah batteries that we have used to operate each of the tools for a good long while before they would run out of juice. Small in size but work great for this set.Battery charger: junk, they need to just throw this out and move on to using the fast charger system only. 4 hours to charge a 1.5 Ah battery is not only disruptive, but borderline infuriating. Do yourself a favor and pick up a fast charger for $30 bucksI purchased this set off sale for $99 and i will say it was 100% worth that. It has appeared to have since raised some. I would probably wait for a sale. As for the current price range, you could get a craftsman, or a porter cable set and save a few bucks. But this set might surprise you. I have really enjoyed owning these tools as they are all light, and effective. My mother also owns the matrix system by black + decker and i have a jigsaw as well. So we get a lot of use out of the set.
