Durable, all day comfortable.
The go-to workwear for Bearing Sea crab men. This is the boot that will keep your feet warm and dry all day, for many years. Mine finally gave up after 30 years. I am actually attached to them so they remain in my closet instead of the dump. Maybe like the American flag I should burn them with respect while saluting their service. For me, the tip for comfort and support it to buy the insulated boot. Even if you are not in freezing weather. Get your size. Go up if you’re between sizes. Now pull some Healy Hanson rain gear over it and you’re ready for the Deadliest Catch.

Warm and dry feet
OK, I got the insulated boots and are they nice! We just got to be the snow, and it is very very cold, I was outside most of the day and my feet never got wet or cold! I got mine, one size, larger for my wall, socks and do you have a little room around my foot. They are perfect fitting. I got them one size larger as to all the insulation in them.Thank you for making a great boot!

So far so good. Great Alaska boot!
I've only had these about 2 months or so.In that time, I've worn these boots halibut fishing, working on my tractor, digging holes in the mud and dirt, and even taken a few short hikes in the rain through muskegs. These boots are amazing so far. No problems. No leaking. Super comfortable and durable.Oh, and during halibut fishing, the deck of the boat got VERY slippery with fish slime and seawater. I had NO problems with traction with these boots. That non-slip surface really works well.I haven't tried them in snow and ice yet, but should be able to in another couple of months when it starts snowing.

Seriously Best Boot, PERIOD
I grew up in Alaska. Moved away for other things but I go back to Alaska for fishing and these are the boots I knew from when I was there and these are the boots I know to wear when I am back. Tough, comfortable - you can wear them all day long (on the boat, on the shore, walking to town after fishing) - and seemingly the only boot one sees on Alaskans anywhere there might be water. There is a reason for that, these are the best you can get and do.

Insulated xtratuf shoepacs
Quality seems good for Chinese product. I normally wear size 12.5 shoe. I bought these in size 13 and fit is about right. None to big. Ok for a light pair of socks with a heavy wool sock over these. These boots are snug to get on and off. You will have to sit down and tug on them to get them off. I would definitely go with a next larger size if possible. If you want a real cold weather boot you need felt insulation. These are ok for an hour or two if you keep moving in sub zero temps.

Warm and dry
I love these insulated xtratuff boots. I was first introduced to them when I worked on a crab boat in the San Fransisco Bay. They kept my feet warm and dry all season. Now I use them on the construction site in concrete, hiking in the rain, and playing in the snow. For me the insulation is warm enough for the snow, but not too hot to use year round in California.

Work on a slaughter floor
I work in an outside year round northern slaughter floor and these are the best I have seen or used. I have watched many go down with lesser boots. Great on ice, snow, mud, blood and guts. There you go and they clean up nice. I have a pair at home rolled down to go get the wood and such, they are even comfy my back, feet and legs all feel good at the end of the day with these.
