This pumice came well packaged in a re-closable, sturdy plastic bag, which stands up on it's own. No crappy bag that you need to throw out. A sturdy and quality feeling scoop was included.This 'coarse' pumice is coarse, exactly what I wanted to be able to clean and texture softer metals. You can feel the grit between the fingers. It will leave fine, but visible scratches to the naked eye on silver and probably all softer metals. This is what I wanted.I have a little old, very fine pumice left over, which works for leaving a very soft texture on soft metals. Since I am low on it, I will buy a finer grit from this same company (Dharma).My packages was shipped and delivered promptly, too.Very happy customer. A+ experience.

I use pumis stone for cleaning water scale build up and thought about putting this powder on a sponge or toilet brush. Overall it worked great and cleans fairly well.

I read the label on a popular salicylic acid body scrub and saw pumice powder as a main ingredient, i mixed it with a cheaper salicylic acid body wash and coconut oil and was satisfied. As soon as this runs out, which it wont anytime soon, i will definitely buy this again. The price of this + the big bottle of the body wash is still cheaper than buying a tube of the popular one.

It says coarse but it's all relative. For perspective, it feels like light sand grit. If you plan on using with soap or lotion, I wouldn't go any more fine. Depending on the quantity you use, it can be a little too abrasive for the face but it was great for the hands.

Ordered the fine and medium grits first and they were basically powder (for dental polishing, which is the real intended use of this product). Coarse is similar grit to soaps that already include it like Aesops 40$ reverence hand soap. I just add a tablespoons amount ~10grams to 500ml/grams of liquid soap and mix it until incorporated. Great product

I wish there were more photos of the actual item in the bag. I needed actual coarse pumice and this is more fine sand like particles. The product is good, but not what I needed.

I am planning on making some foot soap and adding this to it. It's going to be a great way to pamper my feet and as gifts for family and friends.
