the face of the mounting posts are a little more deep set than the harley batteries (which are designed to be flush with the face). the lug on the cable cannot attach directly to the mounting post. so the spacer that is included has to get put between the wires and the mounting post. once I figured that out, getting the bolts back in went super quick. size wise and CCA are perfect fit for the XL883L. good price, good brand, perfect fit, and it worked like a champ as soon as I finished installing it.

Arrived fully charged and cranked my ATV right over. Seems like a very good strong battery and a good value for the money spent. Time will tell.

Bought one and it came with the negative terminal so disfigured it couldn’t be used. Had a rough time getting them to take a return. Ordered a second one and it stopped holding a charge after 2 months.

Fit was perfect ,was perfect except getting the ground wire connected,that’s Harley problem. Battery was fully charged and ready to crank when installation was complete .

So I bought this due to my 2011 Iron 883 battery dying on me at work. Changed it out, fit nice and easy, bike started. I will say though, the ride home was terrifying. The battery claims it comes charged. It’s technically true, but it’s a really low charge at least in my case. Bike almost died out on me on the ride home multiple times. Plugged it into a battery tender and immediately started charging. Do not expect this to be a complete plug and play, charge it first if you’re able.

This battery was a great fit for the Westinghouse generator with the positive terminal on the left. Make sure you order the battery with the L at the end of the part number. Had to bend the mounting bracket to make up for the height of the battery but a great fit.

This battery fits my 05 Sportster perfectly. Yes, as some of the reviewers have said the battery terminals are not threaded, they are universal fit,and the hardware is included with the battery so you can connect it. If you have middling mechanical ability, basic tools, and some basic mechanical experience, this battery is easy to install and is the equivalent if not better than OEM. PS, I had it installed and bike started in ten minutes.
