GU Energy Original Sports Nutrition Energy Gel, 24-Count, Espresso Love

If you love coffee but don’t want to have coffee before your run, this is a great form of fuel for you while training!!! I use the Espresso Love gu’s on the second half of my long run, both as my fuel and as an energy boost with the caffeine. Love the taste - and I think the texture goes down smoother than some of the other flavors Gu makes.

I tried other things before this that were 'meh' and 'bleh' and didn't really do what I needed.THIS however, is absolutely amazing and I seriously wouldn't run without it. Tasty. Very tasty. And it really works. I feel it kick in, literally, and I'm good to go.No bonk. No hyper rush. Just good and steady necessaries for the workout.

GU provides quick energy during a continuous workout. Soccer referees get only halftime for a short rest in the middle of 90 minutes of constant running. GU provides a quick pickup, especially for those of us still at the top of their game despite advanced age. GU is a soft tasty paste in a little packet--just squeeze and go. GU is always in my gear bag.
