IN LOVE
I altered this costume to spin it into my own so I could become a mad steampunk scientist experimenting with spider DNA. I had previously bought another lab coat but did not like the fit– the fit of this coat is slim and flattering, which is what I wanted. It is also very well made, especially for the price– I am thoroughly impressed. I am usually a small but bought an XS and it still fits, just a little snugger around the bust area but definitely doable and still comfortable. I will say the goggles suck, but I had my own steampunk goggles so that didn't matter. As others have said, if you are looking for real rubber gloves, buy some– the gloves that came with the costume are costume material (polyester). I am using them because they look awesome and are comfortable, and also allow for more movement as far as fingers and hands are concerned. In the end, I would definitely recommend– this costume makes me feel too powerful LOL :)

You Get What You Pay For.
At almost $40 this costume is decent enough. The lab coat itself isn’t too bad, I found alot of the fabric and stitching is frayed within the inside especially on the collar, the buttons are velcro which I kind of have a love hate relationship for, I didn’t really expect them to be real buttons but all the same it’d be cooler if they were real. The gloves are cool enough but unless you have the tiniest, daintiest hands in the world they will not fit your hands. I have “baby hands” (small but chunky fingers) so I was able to get the gloves to squeeze on and be comfortable, but if you’re anything past “baby hands” then good luck. You’d be better off buying a separate pair of gloves from somewhere else. The goggles went straight into the trash, in the picture it shows the model wearing them on her head so I’d assume they’re meant for aesthetic purposes and not practical purposes but even then they are the GOOFIEST things i have ever seen, the eyes are far apart and the material is so cheap that it’s all wrinkled and stuck in this awkward state. Luckily I really only bought this for the labcoat and gloves, so I wasn’t heartbroken over the goggles. The syringe prop is your everyday run- of-the-mill corny halloween prop, i’d say the design is cool but it doesn’t scream “mad scientist” to me. All in all, I enjoy this costume enough that it will be used as my costume for this year but in the future I will probably shop elsewhere for a better one.

Exactly as you’d expect but runs small
It’s exactly what you’d expect for a costume. I’m 5’5” 220lbs and got an XL. Fit is a lil strange - fits a little loose around the neck which is good so it doesn’t choke you but is very small around the waste/butt. You’ll def have to wear shorts under this. Gloves are made for people with really long fingers but not terrible to wear. The syringe is also a lot bigger than I was expecting but looks just like the pic

Mad scientist
This was the best mad scientist outfit. It was a perfect fit but I do have to admit that the Velcro on the waist didn’t stick very well when I sat down in the outfit so I did use a safety pin but other than that it was great and got lots of compliments. The gloves that came with the outfit were perfect but the goggles were garbage so I did go out and buy better goggles

Crap costume
Poor quality. Poor material, velcro instead of buttons and it runs small

Exactly what I needed :)
Bought this for Halloween and it was what I was hoping it would be! I'm 5'1 and around 130 lbs and bought a large, it was a bit loose in some spots but overall fit wonderfully, and the material was absorbent enough let me splatter some fake blood on it. It does come with some creasing but if you have an iron that works (mine decides what it wants to actually smooth out on a whim it seems) then that shouldn't be an issue.

Worth $10 But Cute Enough
Just like everyone else says, the costume has loose threads everywhere and seems to have been made in a serious hurry. The buttons attach via Velcro and as a curvy girl - 36,28,48 - the medium fit perfectly up top but forget about covering my 48-inch hips. It was definitely designed by stick-figure people. It still looks cute, and it was the best option available for what I was looking for, but I totally spent too much money on this.
