Q: When in the flat configuration, what is the height? Is this height adjustable?

Hi Flamingo, When in the flat configuration, the height is 15 inches from floor to base. The height can be adjustable with an extension kit that can be either 8 inches, 11 inches or 15 inches. Most bases have 15-20 year warranty from the manufacturer.
