Transformed his reading skills. Now he wants to read.
These books were wonderful for a kid who doesn't like to read. Got the whole set for my 11yr old over the summer. He reads 20 min and gets to play on any electronics for 30 min. He actually loves Minecraft and got in to the first book about two months ago and is on the 5th one now. He took it to school today just to read it. He loves these books because he can picture what's happening since he is a Minecrafter! Amazing transformation on his reading skills. They throw in some harder words every now and then and he gets them. Love it! From a "not so frustrated anymore" Mom

Great for MC fans!
I am dictating the following from a seven-year-old: "Five stars. It was like there was Endermen everywhere. Not really any boring stuff. That was about it."So he reads at a fourth grade level and this was easy. He took them to school and shared with his classmates, and read each more than once. It introduces characters that appear in other parts of the series. I just wish the newer ones were a bit cheaper so I could buy them all quickly.I didn't observe any violence when he read to me. Great to see him reading a chapter book without nagging.

The best Minecraft book ever!! 😄
The part of the book that I like was when they battled the mobs. These Minecraft books aren't just picture books but books that we can enjoy and learn from. My sis loves Minecraft but she doesn't always ply the game all the time and reads about it so that's why these Minecraft books are awesome. They engage kids to read and enjoy it. 😎 NOW THATS COOL 😎

Enjoyable Reading
Our 10 year old grandson has read all of the previous books of this series. It compliments his playing of the Minecraft game which he has pretty well mastered. He enjoys these books and is on to number four, which this one is. It arrived in perfect condition and shortly after we ordered it so the gift was a success for his party.
