I dont like oysters. I could never get over the texture. The health benefits, on the other hand, are worth finding a way to work them into your nutrition. While this extract is not as good as fresh, raw oysters its a good compromise.The extract is a very fine powder, finer than regular table salt. This makes it really easy to sprinkle over food. The taste isnt as strong as I thought it would be... Mixed in water its somewhat briny but sprinkled on food, along with other seasonings, its almost disappears. I routinely sprinkle it on eggs (along with black pepper, tumeric and red pepper) and burgers and meats.I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars as the only thing I wish bulk supplemets would include is some kind of nutritional breakdown. We know oysters are high in zinc, selenium and copper but without some numbers its hard to track.

Good product great smelling

I have long been a proponent of Zinc in the diet. It's especially important for men in order to keep testosterone at normal levels. Knowing that oysters are high in zinc, I knew this was going to be a good resource. I was reluctant to try it when I got it, based on the "taste" reviews, but honestly, it's pretty mild overall. I took a single dose (1/4 tsp) and the next morning my energy levels were perking up already. Definitely a great supplement for those looking for that zinc boost.

I’ve been taking oyster extract for awhile now. I decided to try this product, because of the price and the fact that my favorite product went up in price. There is no way that this is oyster extract without any fillers. It is a chalky white substance that smells similar to white flour. It has zero taste whatsoever. The oyster extract I normally take and the other ones I’ve tried have a strong oyster taste, even in the capsule and are more of a tan color. I have no idea what substance this company is trying to pass off for oysters, but this isn’t it.

It seems to improve one's energy and drive.

I've purchased this product three times. The first two times were great. The third time it came and was a completely different color and consistency. First two times it was a clay color and had a slight salty taste. The most recent time it was a fluffy while powder that looked more like a creatine powder. I reached out to bulk supplements directly with pictures to see if the the product had accidently been mislabeled but they never responded.

Very strong sea water flavoring, so I am hoping it's Oyster with no mercury on it.Follow the recommended dosage and mix it with warm water and then cold juice to attenuates the sea water or oyster flavor.

Not at all fishy or foul-tasting as I feared it would be. Seems to be the best source of zinc and essential trace elements.
