Fit for Huffy Hardtail Mountain Bike
My son's bike Huffy Hardtail Mountain Bike, Stone Mountain, 24 inch 21-Speed, Lightweight, Purple (74818) broke this part - Rear Derailleur. It only had the name of the manufacturer Shimano on it. I didn't know which part would fit. I looked for a similar shape. It fit perfectly. Replaced it and it works great!

Right item
Surprised this seemed so flimsy. Now I know why the original one broke. Didnt have much trouble installing. Was the exact replacement we needed. Ease in ordering and quick delivery.

Nice.
Great replacement for a broken one. I was surprised how reasonably priced it is. Turned it into a project for the kids to help with.

Perfect replacement
My son's dearileur broke, so we needed a replacement. This was the perfect part for the job. I found an online video to walk me through the process. It didn't take very long, and he was back up and running.

This replaced the RD-ty18 derailleur originally on my 2001 Walmart Next full suspension 21 speed mtb. Both are the least expensive type. Not all of my bike repair attempts are successful but this one went well. It seems as sturdy as the original but the original was destroyed when I ran over a stick! It weighs 47 pounds with rear rack and baskets. It's a good bike for rough city streets and sidewalks.

Works but barely
It doesn’t mount all that securely. The adjustment screws are at a bad angle in the housing so they are hard to get at and the range advertised says for 7 speed but it barely makes it to the last gear when the chain is in the optimal position for it. So it does work and looks like it will more or less last but it’s pretty cheap feeling and probably easy to brake on accident.

Cash was tight so, I built my own bike.
I have an old Schwin sidewinder I just rebuilt. It needed new derailleurs and cables. I took derailleurs off of another schwin bike I wasn't using but they didn't fit well. I purchased this derailleur which was shockingly identical to the original. Coupled with a new Shimano gear cassette, I find the bike rides like new. With what I know, I'll never buy a new bike when I can get quality parts at bargain prices.
