A must-read for everyone in America. Easy to read. Understand how, in the process of "processing" food, our bodies become either acidic or alkaline, depending on our diet. The typical American diet is shockingly imbalanced, lacking severely in veggies/produce, but heavy on protein and starch, putting our body's pH into a highly acidic state, making us prone to a host of health ailments, from cancer, to acid reflux, to brittle nails. Amazingly alkalizing!
Amazing book. Covers a very broad spectrum.This book is recommended to all those people who knew that something is wrong inside their body but couldn't convince neither the near ones(disagreement over midly acidic foods) or even the doctors ( not able to analyse in depth and instead trying placebo medicines)Very well written and powerful enough to change your life forever.The author uses logical and easy to relate concepts and facts .

This book was ok; it has good advice but it's an older book. I wanted lists of foods to make it easier to quickly check a food in case I forget after reading it and the book doesn't have lists. I did find some good information about types of foods to avoid and also foods that can be combined in a meal to make an acidic food ok to eat by combining that food with more alkaline foods.

Makes sense!
I have several health issues, and this book addresses nearly all of them! I've been drinking alkaline water for a month and making some of the dietary changes and am feeling much better. I have asthma and am allergic to aspirin and artificial food dyes. I have arthritis and migraines. I haven't seen drastic improvement yet, (I'm still not sleeping much) but I'm very happy with the improvements I AM seeing. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in improving their diet for good health.

Comprehensive and easy to read
This book will give the reader easy to follow advise how to establish whether there is a problem with the acid-alkaline balance and how to correct the problem if one is present. My only caution is that the diagrams are not very easy to read in the kindle edition that I bought. Well worth the money.

Excellent Resource for balancing your pH
I love this book...I found myself out of balance, and saw the book in the library...when I read it, I knew I had to own it...it gives all the right info in all the right ways, to make it easily readable and easily adaptable for your life! I bought one for me, and one for one of my sons, who also has interest. If you are looking for knowledge and easy direction for finding a healthy balance in your acid and alkaline foods, this is your source.
