What an exceptional set! Similar to many others, the pandemic inspired me to be self sufficient with my hair. That and my hair stylist has gone downhill with haircuts lately. So keeping in mind I am incredibly inexperienced and know nothing about hair shears, I love what I bought!This set arrived in it's own cardboard box, not some oversized amazon box with air fillers. It felt heavy which I immediately thought was good sign. It felt like quality weight. I opened it up and was so impressed with the packaging!! The shears, razor and comb all came in thick plastic protectors, not thin crap plastic. It feels like there was actual effort made in presentation.Now for the shears, I just clipped a tiny bit off my length and they cut like a dream. People comparing the cut to slicing through butter is incredibly accurate!I tried the razor on my arm hair (I barely have any) and it worked like a charm. The case is also sturdy and looks well made.I'm so stoked I got this set. I adore yellow gold and gaudy gems, I feel like it was custom made for me yet ridiculously affordable given what I spend at the salon.My only concern is the long term quality of the gold finish. I gave pretty smudgy fingers and I saw fingerprints immediately. I'll probably make the effort to wipe the down after I use them.I also wish the shears had a slightly more pointy tip but maybe the rounded tip will reduce chances of clipping my fingertips.BUY THIS SET! It's gorgeous and functional.

The media could not be loaded. The case is really nice feeling and very sturdy. Sturdier than most shears cases that come with. The shears and razor are great. I love the feel, weight, and contours of the razor. The shears came out of the box smooth. The thinning shears were the only one of the 3 that didn't feel fine out of the box. I'm gonna loosen the screw and oil it and luckily it comes with this handy little screw tool. It also comes with a really nice quality polishing cloth, much thicker and softer than a glasses lens cleaner, and a pretty sturdy cutting comb. Not my personal favorite style of cutting comb but still really good quality. Honestly, very good set for the price.

I was overdue for a haircut when the pandemic hit and stay-at-home orders took effect. Three months later and I was so frustrated with the mess on my head I was just about ready to buzz it all off. Instead, I spent hours watching YouTube videos on how to cut my own hair and everyone was using thinning shears to blend layers, making for a flawless cut that looked so easy to do. I mistakenly thought all scissors/shears are created equal and ordered a cheap set from Ebay, only to have that old adage "you get what you pay for" reinforced - they were such obvious junk I never even attempted to use them on my hair. This set wasn't that much more expensive, so I was a bit skeptical, but the reviews looked promising, so I figured I'd give them a shot, and I'm SO GLAD I did. I am by no means a hair cutting expert, though I've been trimming my husband's and son's hair for a couple of years, and hadn't attempted anything on my own head since I was a rebellious teenager several decades ago, but this set is FANTASTIC! I was able to give myself an outstanding pixie cut that looks like I paid a professional to do. The tools are sturdy, well balanced, and oh so very SHARP. Word of warning to those with chubby knuckles like mine: thinning shears do not know the difference between fingers and hair and will bite through either one with ease. Well worth the price as I expect to get a lot of use out of these.

Feathering razor started to fall apart. Shears are amazing a better than other professional brands I've used. The stay sharper for longer. Thinning shears are the best I've used, I've bought other brands for 4x the price and these work so much better/smoother.

These are beautiful to look at. Yet their performance is so workable. Shears are sharp and cut evenly . Thinning shears were like, WOW. The razor worked great once you figure out the proper angle. Complete with a comb and the tightening tool. Price point was very good. I recommend you trying them wether you're a professional or just a serial cutter like myself and my 80s hair style. So far happy with them. I only tried a few snips as I'm not ready to trim up my hair yet. Nice case to carry them in also. The best part is how beautiful they are.

Its.... ok. I am a bit skeptical of the durability of this once received. It seems to be a lower quality than expected. I'm hoping it will last though as I don't have the funds to buy more items like this. The color of the shears is not as vibrant as in the photos, what arrived is also more purple than pink and the color isn't as solid as shown. It is a pretty comfortable fit in my hand. And is rather nice and sharp. So I'm hoping it works and lasts longer than it seems by the quality level it seems to be.

These are a great starter set! I’ve become a YouTube researcher, at home hair dresser since the price of getting a hair cut in my area now rivals a car payment. Each of the scissors are so easy to use. My personal favorite, though is the razor. It gives my hair that “lived in” look that I like. It’s a slippery slope though so knowing when to put the scissors or razor down is a must! I’m currently rocking a bixie and bangs. Should’ve just stopped at the bixie but I’ve been in a toxic love hate spiral with bangs my whole life. They look good, but I’m just over it already, lol.
