Works great, looks great
This has become one of my most used appliances! It brings water to a boil in half the time it takes in the microwave, let alone the stove. Not only does this save time when making tea (which I use it for multiple times a day,) but I also use it to bring water to a boil to save time when cooking things such as pasta or steamed vegetables. (Pour the boiling water into the preheated cooking pot/pan, don't attempt to cook in this kettle!)I also sometimes take it out of the kitchen so I can have a second/third/seventh cup of tea while working in my home office or watching tv.This kettle is pretty- it looks good on your counter, and nice enough to use for serving guests in a more formal setting. I got the silver tile color, and the silver design is actually metallic, not a flat grey. I hosted a tea party themed shower with pots of loose leaf tea. I was able to quickly and conveniently heat water to fill and refill the teapots because of this kettle, and got many compliments on it.The kettle is incredibly easy to use and maintain. I follow the manual's cleaning and care instructions, and mine is still working and looking like new, despite heavy use and hard water. I love the safety automatic off switch.Another feature I love is that the cord can be wound up and stored under the base.2021 edit:The original kettle I reviewed is still working fantastically, even after a cross-country move. I recently decided to get a second kettle for my home office, so I can make tea at my desk without having to haul the kettle from the kitchen every day, or go without it in my kitchen. (Yes, I use and love it that much!) After trying another brand and receiving a dud I returned it and went for my beloved Bella model. However, this one was defective. I filled it with water halfway between the minimum and maximum full lines, placed it on the base, and flipped the switch and nothing happened. I’m not sure if this was a defective product, if the quality has dropped in the last 6 months, or if this was simply damaged in shipping: it arrived in the original box with no outer Amazon box, and the box was dented/scratched up and had large holes punched on either side (Amazon, take note: I would have been furious if I’d intended to give this as a gift.) so it had clearly received a lot of very rough treatment during shipping. I chose to leave my rating at 5 stars as I do feel it’s an excellent product and assume I had some bad luck with damage done during shipping, but I admit my confidence in the brand is a little shaken.

Beautiful, reliable, durable
This looks great in my kitchen and on the dining table and is well worth the money. I use it multiple times a day, and it always heats up quickly. The spout works neatly. Observing the minimum and maximum fill lines prevents the "exploding" problems described in the bad reviews, so don't give it to an alzheimers patient. The lid is stiff to remove, which might be a problem for rheumatic hands. To protect the counter, I keep it on a tray. For convenience in refilling, I have a water pitcher nearby. My only improvement to suggest would be a white cord since it is a white appliance. A have also seen this same kettle in a different pattern at a wellness center waiting room. Looks great!

A wonder teapot of infinit bliss!
The second this little wonder pot arrived in the mail, I gleefully tore the box open and have been using it ever since. The design is adorable, not in a cutesy childish way, rather classically adorable. I was worried it would look too bohemian but the blue and white has a classic look which is perfect for my old fashioned taste. The pot works exactly as marketed. It has a switch on the back that you flip and wait for the water to boil. Once it boils, it very handily shuts itself off, giving you the peace of mind knowing its safe (won't boil away) and that it will not be powered on 24/7. It heats water fantastically fast. I pour the water in, flip the switch, find my favorite mug and then try to make a decision of which of my teas to pick from (I may or may not have a million of them). By the time I have chosen my tea, the pot is already done and I can the enjoy the infinite bliss only a fresh cup of tea can provide!I took the pot to the office to share because our water service is gone. My coworkers love the pot so much that they now periodically bring me a gallon of water to contribute so that they can have hot tea/coffee/hot chocolate. That being said, I do recommend using filtered water - where we live the water is naturally "hard" meaning lots of minerals. Those minerals can build up in the pot and cause flaking and debris in the water on subsequent boils.Allow me to explain why I purchased this pot over any of the others available on Amazon. I spent days researching this, reading product reviews, going to forums and more. I am a little paranoid about heating anything up in plastic due to chemicals leaching into the water. with the Bella I have no such fears! She is made of glass and stainless steel at every portion that will come into contact with water. The Bottom has a stainless steel plate for heat, and a rod of stainless steel that goes up the inside side of the pitcher. because it Is glass and stainless it does have some weight to it. but definitely weighs less than my pressure cooker! it sits on a small base with a center thing that conducts heat into the pot. the disk doesn't get hot on the edges. and the area that surrounds it doesn't get hot allowing for ease of movement and no burns! (for this klutz a major concern).I am officially a huge fan and will definitely be buying this in future not only for myself but for anyone that could possibly need it!This teapot has truly changed my life and I don't know how I ever lived without it. I dream of a time where I can Have two of these bad girls (her name is Bella, I Decided she's a girl don't judge) so that I can have one for home. Its a wonderful gadget and absolutely perfect for its function.
