are these eyes sewn? don't want plastic button eyes

Hello Allison, the Adorables Theo Bunny has plastic button eyes, but you can take comfort in knowing that it passes testing for the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), title 16, parts 1500.51-53, that mandates among other things, a tension test on 'any projection of a toy that the child can grasp with at least the thumb and forefinger or the teeth shall be subject to this test.'  This would include the plastic button eyes in the test.  However, as an alternative, we recommend the Manhattan Toy Huggables series of plush animals, such as the Daisy Bunny, Amazon stock number B01J26VY9I, which has embroidered eyes and facial features. Hello Diana, the Adorables Rowan bear has the phrase "Adorables Rowan Bear" on the round paper medallion that comes attached to the bear if it is sold and shipped by Amazon (the images do not show it). Hello Madonna, the Adorables Theo was produced in Shenzhen China, and is not treated with chemicals.  You may take comfort in knowing that Manhattan Toy has procedural oversight to ensure our products meet or exceed the arduous CPSIA regulations for children’s toys, which requires CPSC-approved third-party accredited laboratory testing.  Among the many CPSC safety tests this stuffed bunny has had to be screened for includes the Pennsylvania Chemical/Analytical test method Title 34 Pennsylvania Code, Chapter 47, Sec. 47.317 and Flammability Test, Sec. 47.321-322. Was the design of the Unicorn changed? The reviews are showing that it looks very different.

Hello Emily!  Our Adorable Petals Medium Unicorn has not undertaken any changes in design since it’s release in 2016, apart from our old logo on the white silky tag, to the newer all blue one with a white crown.  Some factors that may create the appearance of change are the groomed look in the pictures with the ears pointing up.  Due to the nature of how stuffed animals can get compressed in shipping, they may need a day or two to “fluff up” after they’ve been removed from the polybag.  Appreciate your interest and inquiry.
