Good buy
Added to my 27 gallon tank. Filter has worked fine, but wanted some bubbles for increased O2 diffusion. Low flow through the airstone so not ridiculous. Clipped to top of tank, stone buried under small rock substrate. Looks good. One week in running 24/7, so we’ll see. Super quiet too.

Works well for small tanks
I bought my first one several years ago. It’s still going strong so I’ve bought a few more. It's fairly powerful considering how small it is. While the clip-on feature is handy, it will make more noise as it vibrates against the tank. I prefer to leave it on a flat surface and use a longer hose.

It's quieter than most pumps I've had.
This is better than my bigger pump! It's small, quiet and pumps enough air for my 5 gallon fish tank. Worth the purchase.

A little much for smaller tanks.
This is the quietest pump I have ever had. It is a little bit too much for my betta in a 5 gallon tank. He swims around it fine, but can not build a bubble nest. So, I think "1-15 gallon" rating is a bit much for a smaller tank. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars

Sweet, near-silence
I previously used a whisper air pump and tried every trick in the book to make it quieter. Zip ties, socks, hanging it from a chord, putting it in a soundproof box. Always, the grinding of my old air pump was an ever-present sound I couldn't escape even if I could muffle it somewhat. And then I got this air pump and the loudest noise is the bubbles from the air stone, and the subtle whirring of the filter. Even if this thing doesn't last a super long time, for the peace and quiet? It's worth it. It's so much worth it that I almost want to cry from happiness. I CAN have a fish tank without it being obnoxiously loud!

Air pump is great for smaller aquariums
This little mini pump is quite and very affordable. I love it for small aquariums or anywhere i need a small air pump for my aquariums. The quality is great, long enough cord and ample air supply.

Tiny and quiet
This thing is tiny and quiet. At first the airflow seemed weak. But after about an hour or so of running it’s more than adequate for my sponge filter in a 7 gallon shrimp tank

– Decent for Emergencies or Temporary Use Only
My son purchased the Hygger Quiet Mini Air Pump as a backup for my main system, and while it works, he wouldn’t recommend it for long-term or primary use. It’s a very light and relatively weak air pump, best suited for emergency situations—like if your main pump suddenly stops working—or for hospital tanks and short-term treatments. The airflow isn’t strong enough for anything over a small tank, and even within the 1–15 gallon range, it feels underpowered. I wouldn’t rely on this to keep a heavily stocked or planted tank aerated long-term.That said, Hygger does offer a 1- to 2-year warranty on their products, which is a big plus. It adds some peace of mind knowing you’re covered if anything goes wrong. Overall, I’d say it’s a decent backup, but not something I’d use as a mainstay in my setup.
