Hunter has discriminating taste.
The media could not be loaded. Hunter likes salmon - not chicken, not beef, no tuna or white fish - an occasional shrimp maybe - but consistently only salmon. Not pate, flakes, chunks or shreds. Believe me, we tried one can at a time of so many things and brands until I finally broke his cat code. He was a rescue from a high dollar neighborhood; thank goodness they didn't feed him sushi. For my boy it's only Purina Fancy Feast Wild Salmon Primavera with Tomatoes, Carrots, and Spinach in Silky Broth or Fancy Feast Wild Salmon Florentine with Spinach in a Light Broth. Even his kibble has to be Salmon - with sweet potatoes. He likes the texture of the Wild Salmon Primavera and the gravy. Standing on his hind legs holding the freezer handle, he "helps" me open the fridge. If I take too long to get his food he's actually jumped in the fridge to check for himself. We were both surprised the first time he did that! He got a cold blast to the face and I had a 14 lb. cat in the refrigerator! Now I pick him up and show him where it is on the shelf.I give him about 1/3 of a can in addition to his kibble in the morning and another 1/3 before we call it a night. Not gonna lie, the stuff is pricey so we watch for sales and make it last. I snagged this case of 24 on Prime Day and it netted out nearly a quarter a can savings compared to what we have to pay for it at my local grocery store when it's not on sale.I tried another cat food brand of "human grade" fish chunks with gravy which he did eat (the Salmon and the Sardines, not the Tuna) but he developed painful crystals in his bladder in a month or two. Poor boy - so miserable and the issue led to doctor prescribed food for awhile. He never had a problem with the Fancy Feast Salmon Primavera/Florentine diet before or after we went with the off-brand fish. The "cure" food was more than twice as expensive as Fancy Feast Salmon and made him throw up when he would eat it; so after that experience the $1.++ a can didn't seem so pricey and Hunter really loves it. When I call him in from outside and tell him it's time to eat, he usually comes running because he knows it will be his favorite. He licks his dinner bowl clean first thing and saves his kibble to munch on later. If he's slow to show up when I call him, shaking the treat bag of Purina Friskies Party Mix Cat Treats will get him in at high speed every time! He'll do ANYTHING for that! High five? Fist bump? Absolutely.Hunter's been eating the Salmon Primavera and Florentine for about 4 years now. I don't think he's going to get tired of it. I should probably buy stock in Purina.

My Cat Loved It!
My cat absolutely loved the Purina Fancy Feast Wet Cat Food Medleys Wild Salmon Primavera! The mix of wild salmon, tomatoes, and carrots seems to be a hit, and it’s great to know she’s enjoying something both tasty and nutritious. Definitely a go-to for keeping my cat happy at mealtime!

My carnivores love tomatoes (??)
2.28.24~ Picky cat that can't have guar or xanthan gum loves this.Well~ she loves the "fancy" Fancy Feast Medley in green cans. There was hesitation in trying the Salmon Primavera which is why I'm sharing.Neither cat is a fan of veggies & this is well...tomatoes.The younger one eats anything. Including bird seed ( not by my choice)The older carnivore gets " blocked " with cans that have"gums" .She is super picky. Will not eat at all vs eating what she doesn't want.Fancy Feast green has kinda saved me.Started wth Chicken. Was super cheap & adding water makes gravy. Then the Florentine Selection. Chicken and Tuna were big hits. Turkey not so much.Wth the 2nd cat and other commitments, budget is important. They were tired of White Chicken medley after 3 mon, which is in brown gravy. This Salmon Florentine was the only one on budget.Between me & you, I canceled on Subscribe & Save twice then clicked. Both cats are like crack heads with this food.Just like other Fancy Feast Medleys you can add water to get Must- have gravy. They even eat it reheated.12 cans in and they are mini stalkers searching for an extra serving. As long as it stays under 20 bucks for 24 cans (and isn't turkey) FF is a keeper.

Good cat food
5-star for the wild salmon cat food which one of my Ragdolls loves, but a delay in my ordering to receipt (several weeks) gives it a 4-star rating. Amazon sellers shouldn't advertise the product if they don't have it to ship within a day or so. After a more than a week's delay in receipt of the cat food, I looked at several other pet food distributors (Chewy, Petco, Petsmart), and they all seem to have been out of stock. Chewy ships faster (if they have the product, but some things on Amazon are cheaper), but 2-day Prime delivery is a joke for most things. 5-days plus, is usual.
