Catherine Lansfield Alpine Fleece King Duvet Set Grey

EDIT: I still like the duvet but it does start to lose its fluffiness with each wash. I noticed it after the first wash, it wasn’t the same after that and now it’s quite hard and scratchy in places, especially down by the feet. This is with tumble drying. Without that it would be worse. It’s still a cosy, warm set.——————————-Oh my goodness. What have I started. This is one of the best duvet sets I have ever owned and one of the cheapest!! I’m in love and I don’t want to get out of bed. I’m lying in it as we speak. It’s like being hugged by a big fluffy cloud! It’s honestly wonderful, there was a slight delay in receiving it but it was well worth the wait.I’ve ordered another two! Another one for me (so I don’t have to wait for this one to dry when it’s washed) and one as a Christmas present for someone else. It’s a lovely winter design too. I’m so happy with it. Did I mention I was happy with it?

Are you freezing your bits off when you go to bed? Don’t want to put the heating on? TaDa!! This is the best winter duvet set I have ever bought! Can’t afford to put heating on in every room & bedroom is an ice box. Had this 2 weeks now and you get lovely and warm in no time! It’s like a fluffy warm bedtime hug. Washed it twice and no issues! I turn it inside out to protect the fluffy underside. Seriously cannot recommend this enough and for just over £20 it’s a winter warming miracle!!

I'm truly blown away I got this not ever having heard about the brand, it was on offer whilst money is not a concern as I like Egyptian cotton bedding normally as you really do get what you pay for, this has truly amazed me it is soooo soft and superb quality I would but it again in a heart beat I got it on sale and it's one of those times when you feel you have been sent the wrong item in a good way of your looking for good looking and soft teddy fleece bedding you honestly can't go wrong with this

I love this it looks so nice and Christmassy, it’s fluffy and warm. However when I put it on and went to do the buttons up, their was a hole missing for one of the buttons to go which for the price you wouldn’t expect

These are perfect for those cold nights ,soft,cosy and warm ,never felt cold since I got them ,paired it with a fleece bottom ,well made and come in their own bag when not needed,I suffer from cold feet and haven't worn bedsocks since I got these,would recommend

This is one of the best things I have bought this year...when it is freezing fog outside there's nothing like a cosy bed. This item is beautiful...everything I though it would be in its warm, soft and fleecy texture. Great value for money. I'm thinking if buying another one for a gift .

£23 for a double. It looks an absolute bargain if what you get is what you see in the photos. But of course the photos are staged and that's a King Size on a Double Bed. To be fair, from a distance it does look very Alpine, high quality. Closer up it's not quite the same story. The inner sherpa fleece isn't the best quality. I was struck by how light and thin the material actually is. And the top side which looks woven and textured is, in fact, quite cheap fleece with a cleverly designed printed pattern - looks the part from afar but isn't. Nevertheless, with a winter duvet inside it is quite warm and bulky and since it is 100% polyester I would pair with a cotton sheet to avoid sweating.All this sounds quite negative so far but to be honest if you are going to pay £23 you cannot seriously expect a hand-stitched woven fabric backed by the softest unicorn mohair sherpa fleece layer. it would be nice but really it isn't going to happen. What you have is a printed Alpine pattern on polyester fleece, and a lowish grade white polyester sherpa fleece underneath. It will keep you warmer than cotton, and it will look like it cost 10x as much from the other side of the room, decreasing in value as you approach. Nice touch - it comes in a zipped plastic storage bag so come spring when you want a more summery look you can store it away neatly for the return of cold and wind and rain.I would have given it 4 stars for a £23 duvet set but for a couple of things I felt misled by... Firstly the prominent Union Jack on packaging and promo photos. It is actually made in China according to the very small print on the external packaging. Secondly "Catherine Lansfield" sounds like a traditional British brand, oozing traditional quality, but the company is quite new and there is no Catherine on its official records. It's a bit Mr Kipling, Aunt Bessie, Betty Crocker, Uncle Ben, type of marketing, completely legitimate but combined with made in China and the 100% untraditional polyester fabrics it doesn't sit comfortably with me this time. You can only do that kind of branding if you use materials to match the aura you are trying to create.To remake this using the proper quality fabrics will cost a fortune. I do love the look so may, one day, buy some really good wool and woven fabrics and make a proper one.

Simplemente me ha gustado mucho, su tacto es suave, su calidez la adecuada para el invierno y para lavarla en la maquina lavadora fenomenal. En un día soleado, se seca sin problemas, por lo que no he recurrido aún a una maquina secadora que era mi temor al momento de adquirir la funda nordica. Ojalá tuvieran colores más atractivos o sólidos para aquellas personas que no les guste muchoo estampado en su ropa de cama.

Abriga mucho, muy suave y por dentro de borreguito. Al lavarla a quedado perfecto y no suelta pelusa. Estoy muy satisfecha, lo que hay poco para escoger

Loooks nice for the money! Use it in guest bedroom and ppl said it is real cozy and warm. I am happy with my purchase. It washes good also - no shedding.
