Sony - 7" Android Auto/Apple CarPlay Bluetooth in-Dash Digital Media Receiver

I bought to replace a much older stereo in older RV for the backup camera feature. Great quality and screen very responsive for being relatively old. I also like the couple extra buttons on the bottom versus just all touch screen.

Took this radio to an authorized Sony installation place in Riverview Florida. I was told that this radio is European and that the am and FM might not work here because the signals are different in Europe. I elected to buy the radio from them and it was actually $50 cheaper

Backup camera trigger stopped working after 2 days

I had a sony 5000 and upgrade to a sony 7000 and i love this unit i put it in my polaris slingshot and it's a great product to get if your going to buy a radio for your car are whatever you going to put it in i love it.

This Sony unit sounds great as long as your speakers are decent and not dried out paper cones that have separated. Installation was easy. Just buy the right harness and antenna cable for your car and match the colors. If you are also connecting a backup camera to it that's pretty easy too.Some units required a parking brake restriction but not this model, which makes it easy to install for newbies.If you don't want something too fancy and you also want Android Auto or Carplay this unit is a good option.

As soon as the warranty was over it stoped turning on at all.Android Auto and Bluetooth implementation is trash. Don't buy.
