It's a lavazza. Need I say anymore??!!Grade A Italian coffee. Coffee comes in vacuum pack with more than two years of effective shelf life. Made in 2016 and expiry in 2018 or so.Very thick crema with more caffeine content and carbon Di oxide dissolved within than other blends. Reason is it has high Robusta content. Yes. It is 70% Robusta and 30% arabica. High Robusta content gives1. High creme content.2. Distinctive chocolate flavor.3. Very rich body and deep roasting aroma. This coffee is a Dark roast and its very fine grind size of this blend is better suited for espresso machines.Tips.1. It's dark roasted and high on Robusta and less on arabica. Mainly aimed for excellent milk based drinks. Black coffee is not a good idea. But espresso shots are terrific with rich chocolate flavor.2. Do not use French press or some other trivial instruments like moka pot etc.. It's a very fine grind. Meant for espresso.3. Keep coffee in dark jars with air tight lids.Have some tour de Italy Every-time you brew , ehh?

Great blend of Arabica and Robusta
Excellent coffee. The Robusta and Arabica blend makes it the perfect cup early in the morning, since Robusta contributes to strength and body while Arabica lends it a great aroma. This coffee is absolute value for money, and also percolates well in my South Indian coffee filter.

A taste has to be developed for this coffee. Not a very Indian taste. But it is mild on the palate and yet keeps me fresh.

Perfect for "Moka Pot" coffee
Lavazza is a well loved coffee in Italy, and the world.It is important to follow Moka Pot method completely to make this coffee ots best value.1. Add to funnel basket, but, do not pack/tamp.2. Brew Low and Slow. the more gently you approach the percolating point the smoother the flavor. It's rich, robust, and no acidic qualities like blonder roasted coffee beans. Quite dark and luscious, without tasting 'burnt.'3. Expect espresso bitterness, and you may be disappointed. Expect MR. COFFEE and you're in for a shock. If you are a sophisticated coffee coniseur, you'd be hard pressed to find a better moka pot coffee roast.
