We have a little cove where the birds all collect and play and this was the PERFECT fountain for that area. I have videos of 6-8 birds in it at a time playing, drinking, splashing and bathing... it is a true source of joy for me!! One thing... dont EVER let the water get low, and make sure to put the cover over the wires under the top piece, and keep the motor filter cleaned out. If you have lots of birds like we do... they do their business in the water, which can plug up the filter. As long as you clean out the filter once a week... it's fine. The motor has been running solid since June/July when we bought this. Extremely happy with this.UPDATE - 7.25.2024 - We took all the water out before winter, but did not bring it inside. Throughout the winder the resin cracked, and now the water leaks out. Also... the kink in the tubing under the central tower prevents it from working properly. I really LOVE this fountain, but I'm frustrated that it's just no longer a viable entity. I've even tried putting an epoxy product in it to try and seal the cracks, but they keep coming open. All other bird baths have rounded bottoms, and the birds do NOT play in them. With this having the flat bottom the birds gather and play and bathe together, which is what makes this such a pleasure to watch. I'm just really bummed.

Arrived peeling and with material bubbled. Looks very cheap and not worth $200 due to this. Extremely unsatisfied.

My Beautiful Spear Fountain was having an Leak Issue , I Contacted The Alpine Company, They Responded within 6 hours, They asked Me to Send The Proper information, And it was Unbelievable , Alpine Service took Care the Problem, without any Hassle, Their Customer Service Representative “ Laurie” was THE MOST SWEETEST , and Caring Speaker., I will Definitely continue to buy their Products,Thank you Alpine.

All animals enjoyed drinking and bathing from the fountain. Enjoyed watching them all day long.

It’s perfect! Do need to spray with sealing acrylic to make sure it lasts without fading (per mfg instructions) and had to pick up more rocks at the dollar store but elegant and just what we needed for our front yard. Love it!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased a used product that was marked as “very good” condition. From a distance the fountain looks acceptable. It is a low quality, lightweight, resin painted fountain. It definitely will not last long but for the price I paid, it will do until I save for a better quality fountain.PROS: affordable, style and design is friendly to all size birdsCONS: Low quality and workmanship, close up it looks cheap, lightweight resin is easily knocked over by wildlife, LED light is blue like gas station lights, very short power cord (2 feet shorter than light cord).Overall, I can’t recommend this fountain.

I have bought two of these, one for me and one for a friend. Very disappointed that after only about a month, the paint on the ball started to bubble and then to peal off in spots.

I love this fountain. It's even nicer than I thought it would be. Some of the reviews made me question the quality, especially because it's so much less expensive than other fountains I was looking at. I think it's beautiful. It's sturdy and well made. There is one caveat that will take a little work and a bit of extra money. The vinyl tube connecting to the submersible pump is too short. According to the instructions the pump should sit on the bottom of the reservoir. It does not. We were able to fix it by purchasing new vinyl tubing. It was a little bit of a challenge. We're still happy we bought it. We're enjoying it day and night. Right away we had birds bathing and drinking. What a joy! Customer service is great!!
