I was looking for something to give a little more light to my 3 year old’s room than the little nightlight we had in there, and this worked out perfectly. Super cute and she loves to turn it on and off herself, but importantly it gives just enough extra light without being too bright for sleeping. We haven’t had it that long yet but have forgotten to turn it off a few times in the morning and the batteries haven’t run out yet, so hopeful it will last a while.Update a year and a half later: Big sister just passed this on to little sister, a 2 year old who loves turning it on and off all by herself. Bright enough to help a toddler get used to sleeping in her own room, but not so bright to interfere with sleep. Battery life has proven to be excellent.

I bought these to replace a couple of night lights at my in laws lake house. Since we are going for a watermelon theme, I chose these. They are plastic (including the lights) and are brightly colored. The lights are bright enough for what we need, bright enough to chase away the shadows in a room but not bright enough to read by...perfect for our needs.They are battery powered so we turn them on each night and off each morning. Not a big deal since the previous night lights needed the same attention.We are pleased with our purchase and they fit right in with the decor.

This light was exceptional value for the money! It's very bright and lights up a great deal when in a dark room. We have used nightly for a couple of months now and it's still going strong (with a few battery changes)

We love, love, love my son’s giraffe! It’s not too bright to keep him up but it’s not so dull that he can’t see. Sometimes he will place it on the bed with him so he feels better. We have had it for over a year and we are not disappointed.

I bought 2 watermelon lights. I added brand new batteries and both lights did NOT work! One light was so dim I wasn't even sure if the light was on. The other light wasn't visible at all! They look absolutely adorable, but without the light they didn't serve the purpose that I needed.
