I bought this as a gift for my wife who lived in Spain for sometime. She always talks about the Spanish ham specially the 100% puro de bellota( pure of acorns) like this one . You will not be disappointed with this ham. This is the real thing if you want to taste a masterpiece of authentic food from Spain. The ham is very red with marbled fat. Find out how to cut it, I cut it very thin so the fat will totally melt. This a dry cured ham, but not dry in a bad way. It means you can leave it on top of your table and it will not drip anything. It is moist enough to be pleasant to your mouth. I keep it covered with the cloth or some pieces of skin already cut, as another reviewer suggested (that was a good idea). I will recommend this 100%. A lot of meat to enjoy with family, excellent flavor and it arrived on time.

I bought this leg as a present for my dad, after several days of purchase , the leg became rough, dark and hard to cut. Also, it has a lot of fat and less meat for a ham that is supposed to be a high quality ham. I'm disappointed about this purchase...several years ago I bought a serrano ham leg in Sam for $75 and it was a 100% better than this pata negra!

Although the flavour was right, the shoulder had too much fat.

ok product. has a LOT of fat to cut out, maybe 30-40% of total content. Much more than a regular Serrano ham leg. Good strong flavor but too fatty taste. Would not buy again.

It was 100F in Dallas and the ham was melting when it arrived. They sent a second one at the asking. Also offered to take it back once opened if it didn't meet expectations, which was remarkable. Great experience. Love slicing a bit of ham every day. Fine flavor. Like advertised.

This is the worst cured ham I have ever bought, you can clearly see from the picture, very little ham, ton of fat, at least 70%. It's a wishful thinking you will get a ham looking like their marketing picture.

I purchased an Iberico Ham Pata Negra from Blazquez last week and I was blown away! It’s so convenient that the ham comes with the carving set and knife. Having the guide was also super helpful! I brought the ham to 3 family gatherings and still have leftovers for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Everyone was impressed with the beautiful presentation and it was the centerpiece of each gathering. This was hands down the best Pata Negra I’ve ever purchased! The quality for the price is outstanding. I’m planning to buy another one for my upcoming events.
