Gifts Delight Laminated 36x24 Poster: Oceania-map 1-41000000

I am teaching my daughter every country and capital. It was hard to find a good sized map of Oceania but this is perfect. It shows the tiny island nations and their capitals. It is large, but it kind of has to be in order to allow those small nations to be visible. This does the job well!

I kept looking at small maps which showed only relatively small areas of the Pacific War. This map helps the viewer to organize many events into an integrated picture. I found this map to be quite helpful.

Map came size advertised but the type is VERzY blurry. All but the largest is unreadable to nearly unreadable. Won’t order again. Not surpringly comes from Walmart. Not disclosed before purchase.

With the recent Tongan volcano eruption and foreign activity in the area, want to be able to easily see the distances between South Pacific nations.Nice size map of Oceania. Better than trying to take in the entire area on a laptop or cellphone screen. Sturdy lamination.Extends from Hong Kong & Naha, Okinawa, to the Pitcairns, and Hawai’i to Perth. Rapa Nui (Easter Island) is not included.Shows capitals and major cities, but other towns and tourist attractions are missing. There’s plenty space to show where places like Queenstown, Rotorua, Mo’orea, Uluru and Exmouth are. Will have to plot Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai volcano to see its proximity to Nuku’alofa and other Pacific nations.Other than the lack of detail, it’s a definite four star asset.

Great addition to my Geography class. No more squinting to see small areas around the world. Love it!!!

the item in question, ordered 33 days ago from "Gifts Delight", has yet to arrive; as described, sounded nice. apparentlly, I'll never know for sure

I was expecting the map to be more rigid and something I could write on with a dry erase marker. It works as a visual but I am a bit disappointed.

Really wish that they had used a higher resolution image to print this.. :(
