As a 30 year professional advertising photographer I've used and abused a lot of grip gear - Matthews, Manfrotto, Gitzo etc. Recently bought a couple of grip heads on Amazon - this Neewer and another brand. This Neewer is heavier, better built and closer to high grade Matthews than the other aluminum version I purchased. It was a couple of bucks cheaper asa well. Recommend it as a serious grip head that will last and function properly.

I didn't expect this mount to be so big, or heavy. High quality material and design, it supports significantly more weight than I expected, allowing me to use a longer boom mic with it. If you plan to use it to hold something heavy, I recommend purchasing a 12mm Linear Motion Rod (also available on Amazon) to use as the verticle arm, because they are solid instead of hollow. The twist-handle on this mount turns smoothly, making it easy to identify when everything is secure.

Lost the original in an office move, this one stepped up and handleled my strobe / softbox combo for an album cover ahoot !

This extra grip head (knuckle) is a quality piece that will work well with my c-stand. A good value. The knobs tighten strong and secure.

I have a complaint that the three pictures are not enough to show its features. I only target its advertising, and the product itself completely convinced me. It is a silver metal, like stainless steel, but heavy. And what I am saying is that its surface is not as silky as the picture, but it does not affect the use. Speaking of its functions, I have no complaints here. It does everything it should, it's stable while flexible, and it's very good at grabbing the light stand and the pipe. So five stars.

This is a great, very versatile clamp for anything related to audio or film production. Heavy duty construction and literally built to last. Great product.

Delivery was quite fast, and out of the box. This was a good start to the deal. It seems to have a very well designed and compact structure. With an excellent locking system, it can also be very tightly engaged with the bracket, personally this is the most reliable focus. By the way, its appearance is very simple and generous, and the silver coating is very good for my aluminum alloy C-stand. I like it.

Good quality and heavy build. Clamps well. Seems like it will last a long time.
