Our 90x190 bed arrived well before the expected date, well packed in cardboard and bubble wrap. Really pleased with this bed (although not yet slept on it). The inset legs make it perfect for our small room which has moulding around the skirting board so couldn't fit in a bed with legs right in the corners. Fitting the legs was easy and required no tools. Seems very sturdy. The slats have about a 6cm gap between them so should suit the John Lewis pocket sprung mattress we are getting. The rounded corners would make this a safe bed to have jutting out from the wall - no sharp corners to bang legs on.

The bed was delivered superfast and packaged safely. Well made and easy to put legs on. It has been the best sleep, (plus a Silentnight mattress) sturdy and not a squeak! Really happy I chose this!

We chose this bed due to an awkward room shape and plumbing… had to be narrow with tall legs/good clearance underneath. I was really pleased as it fits perfectly with acres of storage space below. Feels sturdy even though it has less legs than other styles. Delivery was quicker than anticipated and assembly was really simple. There isn’t a huge choice for small singles but I am very happy with this bed.

This pre-slatted bed base is just what we needed - a simple, sturdy bed which was easy to assemble by just screwing the legs on. I made the mistake of ordering an 80cm wide one when I should have ordered the 2ft 6" small single (75cm) but the company couldn't have been more helpful, I was really impressed, they exchanged it without hesitation and kept in contact the whole time which was really helpful. We had decorated my daughters very small bedroom white but she wanted some black accents like a black curtain pole, etc., and this black metal bed was the perfect addition though to be honest once the mattress and bedding are on you can't really see it but more importantly it just fitted the tight space and thankfully because the legs stand just inside the bed frame it means they fit just inside the skirting board (thanks to a previous reviewer who mentioned this). There is also good clearance under the bed so we can slide 29cm high storage boxes underneath. I would definitely recommend this bed and would certainly purchase from this company again. Packaging okay - no scratches or damage. Very happy customer and a very happy daughter!

It's very hard to find out the pros and cons of slatted bed bases v solid bases and this manufacturer provides no guidance about the advantages of its own products nor the differences between their two very similar but differently priced items. Some websites recommend covering the slats with a sheet of ply in order to prevent pinching the mattress but this seems to me to defeat the object of a slatted base by converting it to a solid base. Some slatted bases have totally rigid slats but the slats on the Evergreen product are very springy indeed which is exactly what I wanted and I have indeed laid a thin sheet of semi-rigid plastic insulation material over the central part of the bed base. The bed is a basic support for a mattress and it seems to be fairly well put together but it is not heavy duty by any stretch of the imagination and the durability of the slats remains to be seen - I can't see any way to replace any slat which might break.

Solid bed. Easy to put up.matress amazingly frim. Pillow is comfy too. Rare find this size small bed .look long lasting too. I happy

V Strong, easy to put together and take apart

Good value for money.Easy to assemble, just screw in the legs using the bolts provided within one on the legs. I didn't need tools to assemble.To be aware, no headboard with this and the frame size matches the mattress size so the mattress sits on top rather than being recessed. Both of these things save space.Being metal the bed feels sturdy and isn't heavy.
