I used the product the day after received. Thought I would need to add extra ingredients like honey or lemon but I added only cooled brewed coffee to the powder. I have used henna on my hair about 2 years ago. I need to leave it on for most of a day. I left this henna on for 2 1/2 hours. I was afraid the henna would color my skin around my hair and also the root being the color being black.I only kep the henna on a short time boy the product worked better than expected. My hair coverage was excellent. No due on my skin. The color was shiney and soft. It definitely looked thick. I was very impressed with product. 6 packets. I used 3 packs for my shoulder length hair.2 1/2 months later and I need to reapply. After using, My hair is not falling out. I get very little fall out. My hair looks thicker and softer. My hair is growing quickly. I am loving this product still.

This was my last alternative to hair dyeing and it works and I love it! After 6 years of using Revlon Colorsilk I became allergic to the chemical properties of this and all OTC hair dyes. It got to the point, where I used a supposedly all natural dye that I went into a analyptic shock. Very scary stuff!!!!I tried the Henna just around the frame of my face (waiting for a itching sensation...but none). Following week I did my whole head with no problems! Yay! I’m sticking to this Henna and for me it lasts 4 weeks (and that was the white hairs were coming up around my face, my hair grows fast).I highly recommend this Henna if you are having allergic problems with OTC hair color.

The good: color is beautiful. The bad: hair doesn't feel thicker and stronger like it did with henna guys. I did the test on my skin.... No reaction. I used the product, and nothing. Two hours later I have blisters and welts and a massive red rash all over my scalp, spreading down my neck and on my shoulders. Massive amounts of heat pouring from my head and neck. I'm miserable. And dangest part of it is that my skin test is still reading normal. Will never use it again... I'll stick to henna guys.

It does takes a long time and it probably won’t get to the shade you want in one go. But then once it does, it stays a long time. It doesn’t damage your hair like other chemicals brands.

I had chest pain and red puffy eyes when I start washing it off. It says henna based, which means there are other chemicals in there. Probably PPD...Obviously it is not 100% henna

Great long lasting natural product. I use this on my beard to cover grays because just for men and bigen just wasn't cutting it. Beware of using to frequently though as it changes the structure of each individual strand of hair resulting in split ends, I only use once a month.

Doesnt leave any residue on the skin therefore you can apply dye with comfort to your edges. Doesn't cause damage to hair and last much longer than others.
