I needed a drum key on a lanyard and looked at getting the two separate parts. I did think this might be a bit of a statement as it's quite big, but I absolutely love it! It's got a quick release mechanism so you can wear it like some sort of gothic cross symbolism thing but when you need to tighten a drum skin, it's there, hanging round your neck. Brilliant addition to my drum bits.

Gorgeous!!! its alot larger and heavier than pictured. The locking mechanism works great and very quick n easy to use. my only gripe is i thought it was dark metal when infact its polished chrome...not that that's a bad thing!

He lost his favourite drum key that he had on a necklace since he was a child. So I bought this as a replacement. It's a beautiful chrome and it works perfectly as a drum key. It may not be the same, but he's one very happy Husband. 🥰

lost my pearl key in a practice studio; this got me out of a lot of trouble short-notice - the tether/necklace aspect of it is also extremely handy!

Really pleased with purchase. Lanyard is black cord and key is shiny stainless steel. Easy release through pushing button on top of key. Very well made and quite heavy. Easily hung around neck or off a stand. Highly recommended

This looks pretty cool hanging on your wallet chain or around your neck but don't think you can use it in the same manner as a drum key because it's just NOT made in the same way. I used mine ONCE because I'd left my key at home and mine split on first use. Pretty but not functional at all. There's no obvious way of contacting the seller on the amazon site to discuss a replacement either so think first.....
