However, the B-wine set is superior in quality to the N-vertical.The B-wine set is of solid quality for the fall/winter season intended. They have the proper weight and thickness for comfort in shoes and boots, without being bulky. They are very soft and easy to wear/comfy. They have a large, nice, above ankle cuff that doesn’t dig into the skin, but doesn’t lose its shape and ride down either. The weave is tight and solid, but smooth in texture. These are a definite winner and re-buy.N-vertical is not as soft and comfy. The weave is more open and loose. The cuff is not as substantial, but it does hold and do the job. Will wear these, but not re-purchase.Shoe/ boot size for reference is 8-9M. No issues with sizing either pair.

These are the best socks ever. I bought a set last year and after having them for a couple of days, I bought another set. Then this year I bought another set to keep at our vacation house. They are thick, very comfortable and the colors will match anything I wear. There is no itchy wool. And even after one year's use, they hold up very well. I cannot say enough about good things about them!

Nice and warm but hold a lot of fuzzies and hair even after washing. Now they look terrible.

When they don't list the mix of percentages of what is wool, cotton, poly it's always hard to know what is what but these socks are just right. Thin enough to go into shoes but not thin like they would be a summer sock. Plus the design was nicely done, sometimes you get a flat design these days but it was 3 dimensional. I will buy another set of these in another color set.

These are not the WORST socks in the world, but comparing to a merina wool sock: the fit is for a larger foot (😔 which sadly doesn’t exactly fit me but I will thug it out). They’re very breathable and able to maintain warmth with a lot of breathability. They’re not the softest or as densely tight as Merina wool socks but the price are way more affordable and the ankle cuff is decent so
