Purchased this for a 4 wheeler that had the stock style filter start to to fall apart while cleaning. This 4 wheeler has dynatek igntion and hmf tuner and exhaust. Also has a outter wears pre filter mod on the box. A little but of lube on the filter seal goes a long way. They seal is made perfect fits nice and tight to create a good seal. It seems to run alot better now even though the other filter was a aftermarket one. I would recommend this filter for others also. I run K&N filters on several things.

Worked like a charm

I opened my airbox to find my old filter has collapsed down onto the actual intake and I really didn't feel like it was getting a good seal around the edge. I ordered this filter because I liked the idea of a stiff plastic "plate" to fit tighter and seal up. Cannot complain about that part, it fits like a glove. The seal goes in tight clamps down evenly.I'm not certain it breathes any better than stock. Way more bang for your buck to do a DIY air box lid mod. The stock filters breath great, but I like the peace of mind this one gives that it is sealed and rigid.

I will only use K&N filters in my equipment and my Yamaha Grizzly 700 is no exception. They may not be the cheapest filter out there but in my opinion they are the best. It allows my Grizz to breath like no foam filter ever could and don't believe the myth that it can't filter particulate like a foam filter can because it sure will. In forums you will read alot about foam filters filtering better than a K&N but I have to believe that is said by people who have never used a K&N. I have used my K&N in extremely dusty conditions and it never allows anything, not even the finest particulate by the filter. That is first hand knowledge from actually using the product, not someone giving there opinion based only on the design or look of the filter. If you want to provide the best protection for your machine you really should consider the K&N filter, it is the only filter I will trust.

Fits the 2007 grizzly Yamaha ATV. Seems like the filter is good quality and fits pretty easily.

Better than the stock filter. Yes it has a weird foam ring that needs to go around the filter to seal it in the housing and that I don't like but it works and filter maintenance is much easier than the stock filter. I also trust this filter to perform and protect better than the stoke even though the filter screen area is smaller than the stock one.

I love my 700 Grizzly's but Yamaha cannot make a descent filter box. I thought the K&N would help improve on the poor Yamaha design as I run these K&N filters in all things with motors. This filter leaves a lot to be desired. The rubber type gasket that goes around the filter is susceptible to tearing ( 3 of 4 have small tears) and leaks dirt around the filter. The filter itself only makes up about 60% of the surface that could be used for filtering. There is no way to use a pre-filter so you will be cleaning this filter often as it will be clogged. I have two filters per quad just to get though the weekend. I expected better.
