Delightful!
These are delightful. Every almond I've tasted has been 'fresh'; not a bad one in the bunch. The boxes I received were labeled "Best before Nov 30,2019. Lightly candy coated and really quite tasty! Nothing at all like the hard, teeth shattering Jordan Almond's I've had in the past. Bought 3 boxes to use in favors for our upcoming wedding and had to buy a fourth because I can't stop snacking on them. Will definitely continue to purchase these in the future :)***Update***We did get one box where maybe 1 out of every 20 almonds were bad (extremely bitter). Unfortunately, about half of them had already been packaged into wedding favors and mixed in with the others before we realized this so.... it'll be fun to look at people's expressions during the reception as they bite down into these :D :D :D.Anyways, maybe it's just me - but I half expect to run into a bad almond every now and then so I'm not all that disappointed. If anything, I was surprised we didn't run into one with the first 3 boxes. I've always been told that bad/bitter almonds had more to do with the weather during harvest and were difficult to identify; not because the almond itself was old or past its "sell by" date. I occasionally run into a batch of bad Marcona almonds but that's not enough to stop me from enjoying them. One out of four boxes with such a random smattering of 'bad almonds' is hardly a terrible experience but I can see how someone might be put off by this.

The most amazing Jordan Almonds
When it comes to food, there are times in your life when you try something and are utterly blown away by the experience of eating and that experience stays with you. This is what happened to me when I walked into a Teuscher store (a high end Swiss chocolate store) and had some of their Jordan almonds. A perfectly thin, crispy sugary coating around a perfect almond. The only problem was pricing... at $50 dollar per pound these were a bit on the expensive side. And then one day I found out that Teuscher simply resold these almonds! Now for about 1/2 the price I could munch away on the same item. Great deal for me.$20 dollars a pound is an expensive almond. But as far as I'm concerned, this product's mix of a sweet, hard yet thin and brittle coating over a high quality almond can not be beat. Of course, as with any product, there will be some breakage and the occasional bad apple/almond, but overall the quality is amazing. If you love Jordan Almonds and want the best you can't go wrong with this product.

About 10% were bad, but the rest were wonderful
These almonds are very good but about 10% were bad and I had to spit them out after I sucked off the vanilla covering. The flavor of the coating is very good and most of the almonds were really good. Too bad they had so many bad ones in the batch that I received. These were better than other Dragees that I ordered from another company, but still too many bad ones for me to highly recommend them.

These are great!
The almonds are fresh and tender, the candy coating is thin and balanced for the nut. It's hard to stop eating them. These are the best Jordan Almonds we've ever had. You won't give them as gifts because you will keep them all for yourself. Buy them!

Read the label
A nice combination of crunchy that yields to the bite and becomes a tantalizing mix of vanilla and almond. In terms of looks and flavor these Jordan almonds are quite good. However, I am not so sure about titanium dioxide used in coloring (supposedly it can increase the risk of inflammatory bowel disease). I expected more pure ingredients from a fine European candy producer

Great Dragees from France
We live in the US and bought these for our wedding in the US and our 2nd wedding in France. My husband is a native of France and said these are so much better than jordan almonds. We had the same compliments from those who attended both weddings. They are more expensive than jordan almonds, especially since they are imported from France, but we are very happy we paid the extra cost. We had no breakage problems and we bought them in 5 different colors.

high quality, just right!
I love Jordan almonds, but not the mass market ones. For years I've bought the ones they sell at Easter at Williams Sonoma, and I've looked for similar quality that I can find year-round. This is it! The candy coating is thin, with a good ratio vs the almonds themselves. These have a little more vanilla flavor than the Williams Sonoma almonds, but otherwise very similar. If you really really love gourmet Jordan almonds, give these a try!
