Excellent quality wire. The conductors are braided rather than just straight strands, and the jacket is thick and tightly mated to the conductors. I used this wire to replace some of the wimpy free wire that I got with a pair of old speakers when I got new speakers. My new speakers are more powerful, and I was concerned about the old wire being too thin a gauge. The cable is heavier gauge but still very flexible, and works great.As others have mentioned, this is aluminum wire so it won't take solder. Not a big deal for me, but if you like to use soldered terminators or prefer to tin the tips of your bare wire, take note and look elsewhere. If you're looking for good quality, inexpensive speaker wire you can stop looking now and buy this stuff. If you are one of those who believe electrical current flows better through cables rinsed in unicorn tears, spend more money elsewhere.

Purchased this cable to replace some aging wires I had on some floor standing speakers.For the price and the quality, I gotta say I'm pleased.Cable was delivered free of defects and the colors are a welcome change from the typical red/black , or worse, clear that you have to mark with a sharpie for +/-Not paying for a name and a fancy connection cover or sleek jacket, just good quality wire that hasn't given me any issues in the year I've had them in.

I used it today to repair eight speaker wires that needed to be lengthened and heat shrunk. This is good quality speaker wire and I love the fact that it's also color coded. You also can't beat this price on Amazon either... I highly recommend this product.

After only a few days my subs went out. Checked my truck, wires were melted. I thought maybe a fluke. The very next day I smell something weird, again I check my trunk but this time it was on fire in my trunk next to some gas. I've been installing radios for over 20 years and this is the first time this has happened.

GREAT quality wire. I used this for new speaker install. I like the color coding so I can easily tell + and - cables from the amp. Would get these again for sure. Fair price for RUGGED beefy cable.

A very good product. Thicker, heavier duty wire than most normal speaker wire and really lets the sound come through to the speakers.

I bought this speaker cable to use on an old turntable cabinet I am restoring. Seems like good quality cable for the price. I don't proclaim to be an audiophile, but I am very happy with the product. Would recommend.
