Okra pepsin is the digestive enzyme pepsin mixed with Okra to help it stick to the walls so the pepsin can eat the mucus -- Okra pepsin e3 is the same thing but has several other herbs, etc. to help with digestion...like bovine extract & alfalfa. Okra pepsin is a "thing"......Okra pepsin e3 is a "product-name."

Q: Hello I'm curious which part of this is doing the dissolving of mucoid matter, the okra or the pepsin ?

The okra actually creates mucous to coat the stomach in the case of an over acidic stomach while the pepsin which is a digestive enzyme aids digestion.

I googled brown rice flour and it is gluten-free. You might want to contact the manufacturer for sure, but to me it looks like it is gluten-free. All I know is it works wonders with my acid reflux!
