Looks better than factory
If you don't have air blowing through the top dash vents this is the fix. Just pull the fuse to reset the hvac system. I unplugged the factory then just plugged it in let the system reset to put it in the correct position. Then removed the old one and then swapped them out.The fit is perfect but it's not easy to replace. Have to get the gas pedal out of the way and pull the duct out of the way.It fixed the issue in perfect time for the cold weather coming in.The gear feels glued in and that is what failed on the factory part.

Have patience
These are a very common item to go out on a lot of GMs. Removal is very simple. Unplug, 2 small bolts (5/32”) And it’s done.Reinstallation takes some skill and patience. Note the location of the largest tooth on both the actuator and the blend door.This took me a good 20-30 minutes of trial and error to line up correctly. But works great once installed!
