Perfect!
1st time that i am changing the light by myself, usually the Landlord so i had no clue but now it seems i had to do it myself. After searching i finally founn the right one and it fits perfectly and still lights up nice and bright. Good quality and stilll working! no regrets!

May not fit certain brands of light fittings
I bought this as a direct replacement for my old 28w 2D lamp. I thought that they were all compatible with light fittings that supported GR10q. Unfortunately I was mistaken. From the attached picture, which shows the existing bulb, the light fitting requires the 2 support arms to be a certain, fixed width apart, in addition to the 2D square 4 pin (GR10q) connector, in order to fit into the actual light fitting housing. The support arms were slightly too narrow and therefore the lamp did not fit into my particular brand of light fitting. This appears to be more an issue with the actual light fitting rather than the actual lamp, this lamp is GE branded and on my light fitting instructions it did say (GE branded replacement lamps may not fit). That being said, I was able to get a Phillips branded version from a well known DIY online outlet and it fitted. I was given a refund by the seller as the lamp is not compatible with my particular light fitting and there is no way I could have known this from the product description provided.

I know this colour temperature is what I need, much easier to buy the custard yellow ones which are not preferred by me.

Faulty goods
The media could not be loaded. Never normally send a bad review but this bulb doesn't work and nothing is wrattling inside the bulb to hear if it sounds faulty just doesn't work at all. Litterly ordered after my other bulb went after years of use to receive a faulty replacement not happy so asked for a refund now and order from another seller instead because I have an inspection next week.
