Satsuma Mandarins - 4 lb

At almost $10 a pound, I was disappointed in the product. I couldn't tell the difference in these "satsumas" and the Cuties at the grocery store. Satsumas I am used to eating are larger than Cuties, much more juicy and so much sweeter. A few in my shipment were hard with thin skins and a few were mushy all of which had to be thrown out, so I didn't even get a full 4 pounds. These were no better than the grocery store variety that I could have gotten for $5 instead of almost $40. Learned a lesson on this one

These were great, none of the mandarins were diseased, expired or otherwise smashed etc. Please note, these mandarins are basically seedless. We found only 1 (ONE) seed in all 4 pounds (20+) of mandarins. While that is usually good news for most consumers as seeds can be annoying when you're eating them, we were trying to extract the seeds so we can plant our own Satsuma Mandarin tree!!! So we got a total of 1 seed out of the whole package! Bummer. We went ahead and planted that one seed in a flowering pot but I am not holding my breath that it'll grow into a seedling but fingers crossed! Wish us luck!!As far as the mandarins from this seller are concerned, get them!! They are delish and you won't be disappointed!

They were rotten and had mold on them, terrible.

Had rotten fruit. As much as this cost there shouldn't be any spoiled

Very good flavor that's easy to peel

I absolutely love this kind of orange! When in season, I literally buy cases. I thought I’d try to order them because the nearest store that sales them is hours away! UNFORTUNATELY, these were a complete disappointment. The price is ridiculous, most were green, the others were rotten and one smashed. I won’t buy again. I lived in rural America and would rather drive the two hours to the big city to purchase from where I know they are good! Hope this helps!

They were very dry with hardly any flavor
