You haven't had black peppercorns until you've had "fresh" ones!
I first had canned peppercorns on a noodle dish on a Thai restaurant. These are the things that are normally dried and put in a peppermill, but canned while still fresh. SOOOO good!Great on salads. Also in Kale Wraps (burrito wrappers with fresh Kale and Thai peanut sauce) and Vietnamese rice paper rolls.Contents of can fit perfectly in two pint Mason jars for storage. Refrigerate!

Not an easy item to find
Wet green peppercorns are not something you find on many supermarket shelves. Most folks have never heard of them! This is a good brand, tastes good, lasts in the brine.Nothing more to say, other than that I would buy them again.

Excellent value
I don't think many sell brined green peppercorns for less per ounce than Roland (30 ounce can). And it's good - just not quite as bright flavored as a brand I am no longer able to find at my local Asian market. To be fair, that brand had a Proposition 65 carcinogen warning, and Roland...does not!If I recall, the can instructs that you should use the peppercorns within a week or so. Previously, I kept my other brand peppercorns refrigerated for months with no apparent degridation of taste or wholesomeness, but in the interest of safety, I've frozen these off in ice cube trays which then go into a foodsaver bag, maybe 3 or 4 cubes per bag, so as to avoid freezer burn. It's an extra step, but in the interest of a good value, and I expect that they will last in the freezer for a very long time, or at least until our next extended power outage! My dream is that Roland figures out how to keep the peppercorns on the "bunch" (think grapes) vs. them being pre-picked from their branch, which is something you see with the asian imports. And maybe add something (noncarginogenic, please!) to the brew that promotes a bit more fresh peppercorn flavor. Come on, Roland, you're 90% of the way there!

A lot of peppers
The can is large and gives you a lot of pepper corn. I froze the rest in ice cube trays so I didn't have to throw away the majority of the can.

Good deal
We like green brined pepper corns in sauces, etc., they are not available in our markets so we have to ship them in and this brand is perfect in every way and not over priced, they come quickly, well packaged too. Will definitely order again.

Had an off taste.
Smelled fine and looked good but I made a peppercorn cream sauce that was wonderful except for an off taste from these canned green peppercorns.

When you can't find them locally...
If you need green peppercorns in brine, you can't go wrong with this large can. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these left over peppercorns, but that's a quality problem to have.
