Very useful for identifying the hallmarks on my old silver. And the light is helpful when the light in my room is not bright. Much stronger than the one I used before and I had to get into the knack of positioning it so that the hallmark became clear. Good size to pop in my bag if I go searching for old items in shops, but in which case I would carry it on its own as it would be quite bulky in the case. But the case is nice and sturdy and ideal for storage. It even contains a little tool to take out the tiny battery for replacement, although I guess that lasts for ages.

Product as described, good magnification and useful led light included and comes in its own protective plastic box - this is a metal product and the edges are quite 'sharp', could do with 'rounding' off.

Sturdy and well made. The lens is of excellent quality and virtually distortion free right to the edge. The light is bright and makes a big difference to the clarity of hallmarks on silver. Great as a general magnifier. So far have not needed to use the ultraviolet beam but it seems to have the power to be useful. It comes with a battery already installed and clipped in its protective case is a tiny spanner to change the battery. It is excellent value for money and would be at twice the price. Recommend 100%.

I purchased this as a daily tool in the engineering sector,, for looking at a very thin ink stream, these are absolutely brilliant, I purchased another for my team mate, I think I will purchase some more as a spare and for my other team members,
