Good rip blade. Beats a combo blade by far.
I was using a Freud 50T combo blade for ripping and crosscut with a 3HP cabinet saw. Ripping both dimension lumber and hardwoods took too much effort with the combo blade. I switched to this CMT blade with much better results. It took much less effort by the saw. Cuts are clean and precise. It's a good blade for ripping hardwoods and softwoods.

Well made blade
This blade rips boards like a champ. Having run mostly standard ATB blades, the first thing I noticed is how heavy this FTG blade is. It was like, Wow, this thing is heavy. Cutting a mortise, with a setup jig, yields a perfectly flat result. There is something to be said for the blades made in Italy, hence, these and the red ones. They are all very well made and reliable.

Wrong blade, package mismarked
Update:Amazon customer service overnighted a replacement and the return of the wrong blade will be free. So fr the blade performs as expected. Non-through cuts are pleasantly smooth-bottomed, tearout is as expected on joinery crosscuts, rips are clean and require very little effort to push through the saw.Up'd rating to 4-stars from original 1.Original:The blade I received is not the blade I ordered. I ordered the 10" 24-tooth FTG coated blade. What I got was an 8.5" 60-tooth TCG + FTG ground uncoated blade. The package is clear and the blade is showing through. I can see it isn't the right product. To complicate the matter, there is a white sticker over the package sticker. This white sticker proclaims that this is a 10" 24-tooth FTG coated blade and is a "new item".Am still on hold with customer service.

Works as advertised.
I needed a saw blade that could cut groves for boards to slide in. The flat tooth design makes it great for doing that. Seems I don’t have a need for that type of joint but maybe once a month, the cheaper blade option was a great choice for me. It cuts clean and doesn’t burn.

Do yourself a favor and get a dedicated ripping blade.
I was recently working on a woodworking project that required ripping a lot of lumber. The Freud combination blade I was using was supposed to be great for ripping, but even with the blade set high, I could tell that my DeWalt table saw was bogging down - my circuit breaker tripped several times for the few pieces I did cut. Slowing down the feed rate made things easier on my saw motor but resulted in serious scorching on my workpieces. Overall, it felt inefficient, unsafe, and not good for my equipment. After doing some research, I decided that a dedicated ripping blade was in order.I just received it today and completed the remaining rip cuts I had put off and the difference is night and day. This blade went through like a hot knife through butter. Even with a fast feed rate, my table saw didn't show any signs of strain and I got no scorching at all on my pieces. Be prepared for a ton of sawdust! Where my dust collection has been great for most other cutting operations, this put out more dust than my vacuum could handle and I had some cleanup to do afterwards.*Edited my review to echo other reviewers -- despite what the listing says, this is not a true flat top grind blade, it leaves a slight bevel on either side of the cut. If you're looking for something to make box joints or flat-bottomed dados, look for another blade.

Bad experience
Bought through "ivaluemart" as the seller. Received a used 24t ripping blade in the plastic packaging for a 50t combination blade. Blade seems nice but I'm requesting a replacement before I use it. Awful that now have to wait another week for a replacement.

Blade is good 24t, but...
Nice and sharp however leaves some tearout and saw marks i dont know if mine is a little out of speck its not slick and clean cutting but cuts very well. I am going to keep playing with it. Nice blade i wish it cut perfectly.
