I put these things through a pretty tough test surveying creeks and rivers in southern Tennessee. I'd wear them for up to 10 hours straight, hiking through overgrown woods and fields full of thorns, brambles, and other unfriendly brush. We were regularly standing for long periods in water up to our waists.Pros: these are lighter weight than other waders I have seen, they're more like a rubber coated canvas than full molded rubber. That means they flex easier, are lighter, and aren't quite as hot. This was great in the south in July. The shoulder straps help them stay up and in place very well. The phone case is handy and durable. I've seen other reviews complain about the case breaking, and maybe that was an older design because mine was very durable. I imagine the force necessary to break the case off it's lanyard would be hard to miss as it pulls at your neck. Overall the fit was exactly as expected. I wear a size 13 and ordered purely off shoe size. The final fit was perfect for me, 6'4", 230lb, shoe size 13. The boots were a little big but that's needed to get your foot in something that doesn't lace up.The con: These do tend to leak a bit. I can't put my finger on exactly when or why it happens, but it seems like it's more like water seeping in slowly than what I would consider an actual leak.Overall these work well for the price. They will keep you dry-ish while being more comfortable and functional than others I have seen. I do recommend this product for light duty use, but maybe not if you're going to plant yourself in a river and fish all day. Get something higher end for that.

Over 9100 sold, that speaks loud to the product. The price and the amount sold is the reason I bought the TideWe waders. I am getting I to fly fishing and did not want to take on debt doing so. I got out on the river and I stayed dry for the most part. It was about 94° out and the waders heat up in the sun, the moisture that accumulated in the waders was sweat I belive. It was not much, so I don't want to call it leak. I had a long walk from the park and pay area to the water. I am a big guy bending over is limited range, I am working on that. If your looking for inexpensive waders TideWe is the way to go.

I took these out stream fishing for a week, and they did fine for the most part. I’m 6’4” and with the shoulder straps as long as they would go, I basically couldn’t bend down at all, and ended up tearing one of the strap guides/loops. Works fine as a belt wader though, and the boots are better than expected (and true to size.) If you’re wanting some serious waders to fish multiple weeks every year, go with better ones. If, like me, you go to the mountains once a year, these are a perfectly ok option, and the price is great!

I am a wife who was ordering these for my husband. So I had no idea what to order. I picked these and I was very pleased. My husband said they got great and keep him dry. We liked them so much that we ordered a pair for my son and my father in law who also love them

cheap, it fits and is comfy. it had a small leak nothing major didn't even notice until i got out of it. would recommend

Went trout fishing 4 days. Didn’t leak. Good for summer cold streams but would be cold in winter. Boots fit ok for me but my nephew ordered a pair and the boot size was too small.

This is a good product and was promptly delivered. I am using these waders for fly fishing and they work perfectly for that purpose.

I bought these to wear while mudding. They worked great to stay dry and clean from mud. They also fit decently, the only issue was the inseam when I sat down (they were tight in my thighs & knee area) I am 5’9 for reference. Also after about 4 uses there is a small hole where the leg meets the boot, but it could be because of the fitting issue.

Overall:- Used for fieldwork.- Comfortable when sitting in the boat or bending down to collect samples but can get hot when it is sunny.- Mostly waterproof but my pants felt slightly damp (not soaked) when I took off the waders.(A different amazon reviewer recc. to test them out in the bathtub first. Make sure to sit in the tub for longer than a few minutes (which I didn't do). When I was doing fieldwork in the water, I noticed that parts of the suit went from light brown to dark brown with a seeping water pattern. (Not sure how long it took for this to happen but less than 1 hour).I'd recc. this product for short-term use (i.e., a one-off weekend fishing). If you want to use waders for multiple seasons, I'd invest in a more expensive pair.Package includes:The item came in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box which also included a hanger, cellphone pouch, and repair kit (located in the pocket). This box was placed in a larger amazon box. I tried out the hanger but it was kind of a hassle to use so I just used a regular coat hanger and crossed the straps to prevent it from slipping.I had already bought a waterproof cellphone pouch so I didn't test out this pouch.It'd be cool if the waders had a small loop near the pocket to string the cellphone pouch through to make sure you don't lose the phone.The front pouch of the waders is velcroed and is spacious enough for a phone but is annoying to open. I recc. having the pocket open at the top for easy access.Sizing:I'm 5ft 3in, less than 100 lbs, and a 6 or 6.5 W in street shoes (~ 23 cm)It's a bit big on me even with adjusted straps, belt and drawstring cord.They sit slightly below the chest. Boots fit well with a pair of thick socks.You can wear multiple layers underneath (long sleeve shirt, flannel, hoodie, and bug mesh shirt and thick pants (like sweatpants).Durability:I've walked through bushy shrubs and overgrown vegetation but I try to avoid sharp branches since I worry about punctured holes. You can feel the cool water (in ponds, lakes, rivers) against the waders but don't feel water inside the waders. The boots have pretty good traction (I've had to climb up hills and walk on slippery rocks and muddy areas). It's pretty easy to do fieldwork in them (i.e, bend down and collect samples) but make a pretty loud swishing noise when walking which might scare off animals.
