Got this for my daughter who has recently taken an interest in some of my Wicca and Witchcraft books. I think it's a great introduction for a child, not too in depth to keep it at a level they can comprehend but still getting the point across in keeping with Wicca and Witchcraft. Definitely recommend for children who may be interested in this sort of thing, or even just increasing their knowledge of other peoples ideas in the world.

My 8 year old is exploring on his own what magick is to him. The recipes and ideas in this are easy to follow. The ideas are age appropriate and with a nice touch of science. It’s getting lots of use. We especially like the absence of heavily gendered illustration or language.

My 10yr old daughter recently decided she is a witch, a good witch of course. Her Christmas list consisted of things like a "real" witches broom & a spell book. So Ive been looking for a kid friendly "spell book" that would indulge my daughters imagination without involving or being based on the religion of Wicca. No disrespect to the Wiccan community, you do you boo. But while my daughter is fascinated my magic and witches and wizards and brooms that can fly, she also has a strong love and belief for God and Heaven, especially since her Daddy went there 5 months ago. All those things considered, the content of this book is exactly what I was looking for. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because as another reviewer stated, it is a VERY short book. Definitely smaller than I anticipated for the price. In fairness to the seller, Im sure it states the number of pages in the description and I just overlooked that. If anyone knows of any kid friendly spell books out there that are a lot bigger please let me know!

Bought this for my 7 yr old granddaughter who think she’s a young witch. No adult or harmful spells & uses products you normally have around home.

I like the book just fine for an older kid, but this in no way is for my 6 ur old. And it says it uses only common things that most people would have in their house, not true. Plus it’s not very big at all. The spells were way too complex and complicated for smaller children. They have fun with it, lol they were out in the yard chanting and burying someone’s name. It’s just a little too much for the age it’s advertised for in my opinion. And requires too many things for 1 spell.

My daughter loves the fun spells in here and it's handy to know it's just make believe. Also, it's great independent reading practise.

Absolutely perfect. I wanted a book for my granddaughter which was enforced the idea of 'harm none', was fun and which was subtly educational. So good I bought a second one.

It’s a lovely little booklet, great as an intro and has gorgeous artwork, but for the price point I was expecting a more substantial actual book. We’ve purchased many books around this price point aimed at tweens and this book is essentially a colour booklet. I was interested in buying the other books in the set but after seeing it in hardcopy I won’t be purchasing them others. I’d say around $10 is a better price point for this booklet.

The book is wonderful.
