Spicy Sobrasada Picante from Mallorca, The Spanish spredable Sausage (About 400g)

Definitely will recommend. I am used to eat Mallorcan sobresada and this one is pretty good. Since then I bought the sweet one , but I prefer the so called spicy which is very mild 🌶 .

Made into a Chicken and Sobrisada casserole with Judon beans and courgettes. This was a fabulous product to use, full of spice and flavour.

Excellent service. There’s nothing wrong with this product. It’s a matter of personal preference and for me it’s just a little bang and not spicy enough. Most people will enjoy it.

It is not really good, sobrasada called the pozo is more tastier than this.

This is authentic sobrasada from Mallorca and very delicious but not for the faint-hearted because it contains a lot of fat. I like to put slices on ciabatta or Spanish bread if I can get it. Really good Mallorcan bread contains no salt and is the best but I haven’t found it in UK. I bake these in the oven until the sobrasada melts a bit and the top starts to caramelise. The fat is bright red from all the paprika that is in the sausage and so care is called for when eating it. You can just spread it on bread, cold, but I prefer it cooked. This particular one was billed as “picante” and there was a bit of chilli heat but nothing excessive. Tasty!

I am trying some recipes from Rick Stein, this was a completely new taste sensation that I cannot live without. Absolutely delicious. Arrived quickly and appropriately packaged.
