Goodyear Folding Bead Road Bike Tire, 27" x 1.25", Black

Perfect tire for my 7-speed bike, very lightweight and durable. I ordered one about three months ago, it hasn’t popped or busted yet; I haven’t had any problems with it. I plan on ordering another for my sons bicycle.

simply it fit and it works. Did not pop off my 1980's rims. road smoothly.When you get this, it is all scrunched and folded. Open package and lay it out in the shape of the tire for a little while and it will look like a tire again. Tires like this are common and typical, when they dont have the steel bead, they can be folded. A poster said it was a flat piece of rubber, but that guy has no experience with bike tires or he would know better than say that. And every tire I have put on various bikes, I have had to pry onto the rims, and this was no different. Some videos show people able to force tires onto rims with only their hands and when they can't, they complain they are defective.

I liked the small box. Getting it on the rim was a challenge at first, but I got it on. Works like it should.

Good tire for a good price.Haven't ridden the bike yet so not sure about mileage and durability.

I ordered two identical Goodyear road bike tires, size 27” x 1 1/4. They were for an original bike, with original identical rims. One fit fine under the recommended 65 psi. The other one raised above the wheel rim. I even switched the rims, front to back to insure it was not a rim problem.

Good but they Wear out very fast. Dead in 3 months

So while both tires I ordered are good, I got two different tires which confused me. Same size but completely different treads
